Surprised he switched as well. Yes, he was using the odyssey #3 for as long as I can remember. He was a great putter with it too!

I read lots of times that pros change their wedges every two/three months, due to the grooves wearing and loss of spin.

The bright blue and volt 5 wood sticks out like a sore thumb in that bag. Honestly, what was Nike thinking with that colour scheme?

Seems pretty straight forward, right? He was playing the blades that Nike made for Tiger, now he's playing the blades that TM made for Tiger, which are very very similar to Tiger's old Nike blades. Seems like Tommy has visual/COG/sole grind preferences quite similar to Tiger, no? Not that there's anything wrong with that!

 

Anyway, great setup, hope he has a big year. He can flat stripe it, and he's a good dude to boot.

That DFX face felt really good when I had one way back when. Much firmer than the white hot insert, not as mushy.
