All of us are impatiently waiting for the 6 ball performance packs to become available for the new Z-Stars/XVs. Apparently, they are available in Johannesburg, South Africa, but I'm guessing the shipping cost might offset the savings.....

Just played my first round with the new Z star. Never played any model Srixon before. Played with 1 ball the whole round. I guess I’ve been missing out. Just Order 4dz for the price of 3 from RBG.

The ball does everything the CS does and has a more durable cover. The only damage was self inflicted from hitting the cart path with the driver on the 8th hole. Minor damage that had no effect for the remaining holes

I played a round with the Q-Star tour today, very good ball. I'm playing the Z-Star this year, but the Q-Star is a pretty good ball. Picked up a dz for $20 last month. A little bit softer than the Z, but my distances were about the same. Greens were were too soft to judge spin.

Q Star Tour is the real deal. I got a dozen cheap on shop credit but wasn't expecting much, was intending to use it as a practice round ball. Have been using it in competitions and it's been a revelation. Long and straight off the tee and good spin off irons and around green. For my chs of around 100 it's a good fit, as good as any tour ball but cheaper.

Q Star Tour is a very well kept secret in golf. It's a ball that seemingly fits about 90% of all golfers very, very well. I've said since a few months after it's original introduction that if suddenly proshop/retail stores had to only carry one golf ball, that would be it. I personally think it's the best total package golf ball for most golfers, and is now one of my top two selling models typically.

Yeah, the Q Star Tour is the sleeper in the industry, I think. Love playing that ball. I can work that sucka really well.

Follow up from my original post on the Q-Star tour. I'm really loving this ball, it feels so nice off driver, irons, wedge and putter. Greens are still pretty soft around here to judge spin on greens. Cover seems holds up as well as the Z-Star for me. In may have found the perfect ball for me.

Just bought a dozen '19 XVs today... I actually meant to buy the older version since they are $10 cheaper but I am kind of glad I wasn't paying attention. The new XV feels a bit softer, almost like the previous generation Z Star non XV. Similar sound and feel off irons and putter. It took me a long time to warm up to the last XV, which I now really like but I think these new ones may be even better. I slept on Srixon balls forever, not anymore. For the price, these can not be beat IMO and even at Pro V prices, I think they are just as good or better.

I got 3 dozen XV and 1 dozen Z-Star to give a run.

It's sleeting and raining here, but I got a bunch of putts in the living room. The Z-Star feels like the previous version, but the XV feels SO much better than the 2017 model.

I think the Z star may be a little better in the cold weather as it feels a little softer. Both are great... I was leaning BXS, but I think I am sticking with the Srixon's from here on out. The BXS is good, but the durability sucks. I got through 9 last week and my XV looked like I just took it out of the bag, the BXS marks up in only a few holes.

Got 2 dozen new Z stars for the rest of the winter and early Spring (90 compression) and 4 dozen of the new XV's (102 compression) for rest of the season. Only putted around the den but don't notice much difference off the blade from 17 for me.

As long as the weather is cold, I'll be using the Z-Star alongside the Duo Pro. XV will definitely be a warm weather ball though. The big rounds this year are at Pikewood and Merion so I need to drill these two new models thoroughly!

Also, I think it's worth noting again that even though the Z-Star may be the softer one of the two, if you go by compression rating only it's quite average to firm. The 2017 TP5x was a 90 compression as well.

I bought 5 packs of the new model xv from them. Would only let me go up to 5 so maybe that’s all they had left. They had the regular z stars still though.

yeah, it’s confusing, because they have the old 5th gen for $9.99 on closeout, but the new ones are the same price. Checked the descriptions a few times before I believed it.

I bought 7 of the new XV, so they very well may be running out of stock. Glad I jumped on it.

Picked up a 6 ball performance pack of the new Z Star this morning.

5 mins later I came to my senses and bought another pack of the Z Stars and two packs of the XVs.

Two dozen brand new model balls for 40 bucks. Insane.

Where’d ya get them ?

Saw them in a local store in Ohio. Looks like you got an even better deal online!

Check your local Dicks Sporting Goods. They have them @ $10/pack and running a $20 off $100 deal. I ended up getting 5 dozen for $84.69, so basically $17 a dozen. Unbeatable deal.

10$ for the 2019 z star performance packs? Online it shows they are 15$ are they marked at 10$ in the store? I picked up some q star tours for 10$ awhile back and i liked those for the colder days.
