This is ,"The EXACT shaft as the TZP Proto", only difference is final graphics. TZ 5 is the lower launcher,(it was grey in proto form) and the TZ 6 is darker,same as proto. The TZ 5 is the lower launcher. What an incredible feeling shaft. Only can describe it as it does what you do with your unloading motion.Stays right there with you!! hard to imagine a more smooth and stable shaft.

What specifics were you looking for with the m6/TZ combo? I'd be glad to answer any questions I can, I just don't know what you're looking for in particular.

I went with the TZ6 55 stiff, so I'm guessing that's the m4 flex on their website.

I've always been a fan of a lighter shaft so I can feel the head through the swing and usually the lighter shafts are higher launching than the heavier shafts, which is my preference.

I just noticed that on the website as well.

Here's how everything came about: He put a picture of the TZ6 on his Instagram while he was at the PGA show, and I messaged him about it. He responded saying he'd get in touch before he places his order for them. As promised, he contacted me a few days later to make sure he had me down for the right one.

So maybe he just passed a deal along because he ordered in bulk, or maybe he saw from my IG that I'm a level 10 golf equipment ho and knew I'd most likely buy more stuff from him in the future.

But if you're interested in this shaft, $50 isn't something I'd worry about because it is seriously good.

I spoke with Accra yesterday -- interestingly enough, both Day and Champ are playing the TZ6, the lower torque, but higher launching and spinning of the two shafts.

 

Day been using for the last 8 months they said (prototype graphics) and Champ off and on since the fall.

 

Seriously intrigued.

The description of the TZ6 bend profile sounds a little bit similar to the Modus 130 and KBS Tour V. I hit both of those iron shafts fairly high and straight, but not sure if they are the best fit for me in irons. High and straight with the driver sounds pretty good, though.

I'm not personally worried about it. Just thought it was somewhat odd since it's $300 through several other channels. Maybe it's priced with the assumption most buyers are using a promo?

 

But back to the shaft itself, I'm very much looking forward to testing it. The profile and feel characteristics sound nearly perfect.

I am a high peak height, high spinning player. I had a fitting at my local Club Champion with the intention of finding a replacement shaft for my 7.5* G400 LST. I was playing the Tour 75 stiff, but was not happy with the tip section since it felt too "active" towards the bottom of the swing. I also couldn't swing above 80% without losing control of the club face. I tried HZDRUS Black 65 6.5 and the Accra TZ5 65 M5. Both shafts felt similar in stability but the TZ5 was a clear winner when it came to feel - can't stress enough how smooth the TZ5 is. The TZ5 dropped my peak height, kept my spin within a good range, I had better consistency with strike, and was able to get after a few of them without much instability. I'm not a big spender when it comes to clubs or shafts but I'll definitely be shelling out for this guy! Below are my stats with TZ5 (Blue) vs. my Tour 75 S (Red)

Uhhhhh....dispersion??? I’m not a fitting expert, but I’d say you might be a bit concerned with those accuracy numbers.
