What putter did you just buy ?

Oh man. That's the putter I want. Let me know how she rolls. I don't know why but love the look of the turtle with the flowneck

 

it is so so so so soft! with the 3 lines alignment, it is so easy to align the putt. The whole putter is just nice really

 

Did you go with the std or large grip. I tried them today and the fee is totally different between the two. I liked the std grip but curious if you felt any difference and which one you preferred. Looks like you went with the larger grip.

 

I stuck with the standard. I will be honest I'm not in love with the grip BUT it worked so I left it. My distance control is my issue. I usually play a 34 inch putter but am playing this as 35 and then gripping down the grip. I feel it's more stable and I feel like my stroke is smoother for some reason. The face is so soft it took some time to get used to TBH as the first few went quiet far. After maybe 20 rolls I was hitting everything from 5m to within 2 feet and consistently. I think the biggest wow factors for me was the quality this thing is honestly next level (used to have 7 Scotty's in my collection, have 3 toulons and 1 Lajosi), the colour scheme makes the putter really nice for the eye but at address its not busy and doesn't shift your focus. The shaft is obviously a proven benifit and to get this shaft and putter for this price I feel is a huge gain. Head covers are top quality and look great in the bag with the logo placement and colour scheme.

 

If I was to have any negative it would be having a yellow and black grip. I have mentioned I'm not a fan of this grip but it works so I wont be changing it. I wish it was black and silver or maybe black and white?

Yes 34" and yes eBay - listed as used in mint condition - I don't think it's done anything in its life other than perform in the carpet roll test!!

 

I'll play it - when they originally came out I couldn't afford one and finding one in such great condition was an opportunity not to be missed.

 

I've just always liked, felt comfortable and putted reasonably well with the "9" style putters - current gamer is an Odyssey 9 WHP that I've rolled for several years.

 

There's nothing I don't like about Mollie - balance - great, feel - great, roll - great, Iomic grip - great.....I'll shut up now BUT very excited to put it in the bag.

same here, re 9 putters... my current gamer is a Black Tour Design Series 9, which is just phenomenal. I've had many and the Betti BB34, and Cameron Del Mar all paled in comparison to the Odyssey (no inserts), and have always wanted that Mollie, as the whole face is basically an insert.

 

The Rife Abaco I have is in my bag in Melbourne, and I have a NC Gambler in my bag that's currently in Manila. I've also got a couple Cleveland 2s which I thought rolled better than the Betti and Scotty.

 

Anyway, I digress, truly jealous of your acquisition. still haven't found a Mollie at 35", most of which are coming from Japan, and most putters there go to 33/34" so I'm not optimistic I will eventually find MY Mollie...

Picked this up the other day. Been using a 10 year old Cleveland heel shafted BRZ 2 for a few years, this is very similar, maybe a tad heavier. Rolled great in the shop. Haven't had it out on the course yet since this cold snap, maybe next weekend.
