Think they became a house brand for one of the big UK retailers and then slowly disappeared. I picked this set up on eBay for £66 delivered. They are in good shape, and at that price they were too beautiful to say no to.

SWMBO dragged me out of the house today to go visit some Antique Malls and stores over in The Villages area. I'm glad I caved in - I scored a nice 10-club set of Eye 2 irons and a PAL putter for $47. Very playable set - no abuse. They cleaned up nice. I love that woman! :taunt:

F9 came today.

 

I’m thinking the best shaft for this the tour issue Fubuki J 70 XX. Shallow head, hit down on it, let the shaft kick to give me a positive AoA but the tour issue tip is so stiff it won’t go left.

I did... Once I get the steel wool on them and clean them up a tad I'll have a nice raw set that I've always loved the look of. Tools not jewels as they say... I've always been a huge fan of raw irons.

Really excited to play these eventually - 54.10 bent 1* strong and 58.08 Slate Blue SM7 wedges with the DG Tour Issue Onyx shafts and black NDMC grips - they look even better than I could have imagined.
