In need of making the game easier, I want a few HMPs or the MP-18 Fli-Hi. Thanks for posting specs (at least) on HMPs above; also can't believe no Youtube reviews.

Which will blend better in feel and looks go for a 5 & 6 iron replacement for my TW727M Honmas?

These HMP in 6 and 7 (loft matching giving me two 7s) or the MP-18 MMC Fli-Hi in 5 & 6.

My 1st venture out of forged irons except my Vokey wedge since 2008.

Will these have a larger head than the p790s?

Nope, a smidge longer. 2.2mm to be exact.

Local GG had these in stock with C Taper Lites. Had them tape up the 7 iron and hit a few. Not sure exactly how they look at address due to tape, but seem to have very little offset and feel surprisingly great. Very easy to hit high and low. Spin seems decent for a strong lofted iron (tape probably impacted this so not quoting numbers). Will definitely be checking these out once the snow melts.

They souldn't of had them out on the floor for sale yet. Those officially don't release until the 15th.

Will they have a matching HM Pro Gap wedge? Or will you just have to use the gap wedge that comes with the HM irons?

No HM Pro GW. Just the “set matching” wedges.

I saw them yesterday as well. They look AMAZING from 7-PW. But on the 6 iron and 5 iron you can see the sole behind the club at address. I little bigger than P790 but very clean low offset look.

The Hot Metal Pros are actually little bigger, not smaller than P790. 81.2m vs 7.9 mm. I saw them in person yesterday and they are slightly bigger when compared to P790s.

Doesn't look too svelte vs non-pro in the above pics, surprising

The 7-PW look really nice, but as I stated before the 5 and 6 iron do not. You see LOTS of sole behind the clubface at address.

I got a set early (shhhh). I'm playing 4 rounds over the next 3 days so I'll respond back on Monday with a review for those of you interested. I can also post a few more pics as well. As for looks I think they look great. Offset is minimal. I agree the blade length is a little longer in the long irons (think Srixon 785). However the topline, offset, and overall size don't look much different from my Titleist TMBs even though they are slightly longer. I'm looking forward to seeing what the performance and feel is like compared to my current irons.

I would be very interested in the sound/feel of them as well as spin characteristics! Thanks and play well!

Also would like to hear some comparisons to the i210. I'm getting fit in the next couple weeks (just waiting for the fitter to get the demo heads in whenever that may be), and the top 3 going into the fitting are the i210, 919f, and 919HMP.

The HM do not feel as soft as the i210 and the HM Pro will likely be about the same. Really, the 210 lines up more directly with the 919 Forged. More bounce in the 210 and it is the softest Ping iron I have tested. The HM feels powerful and solid more than soft IMO. It is hardened by chromoly and is a bigger overall profile vs the 210. The 919 Forged will likely give you a better direct comparison.
