See I like the shape but they've spun like tops for me. Hope the 410 series is better.

much better hands down.. It is like night and day... Fitter told me that this was the #1 concern Ping wanted to address in the 410's and they nailed IMO....

Fantastic. I'm a Ping guy that hasn't used their drivers since the Rapture V2 because I have found that I spun them too much.

Did you try the g400 LST? I’m not a ping guy and the spin is really low.

What shaft people going to order in this, alta looks as good as any of the other stock offerings to me. Thinking of ordering an inch short of standard though

I have a diamana d+ 80 waiting to have the new tip installed. I probably will order with the tensei pro blue 80 but I'm sure that diamana will be in there before long.

I didn’t see the pro blue as an option like it was in tx flex for the hybrids, can you point me in the direction where that is offered

The regular flex Alta shaft in the G400 3 Wood was a noodle. To me, the stiff Alta played like the regular flex Ping Tour 65 shaft. Anybody able to comment on the new fairway Red Alta shaft's flex?

That's good to hear because I even tried the stretch and it was a no go. LST fairway looks legit.

Well I just bought the410 3 wood with the orange shaft. I went with it for the flat setting. I hope this will help with going left issue I have with 3 woods it is set to arrive on 2-11 I will update when I get it

Strange, I was of the idea that irons and hybrids will be in feb and woods in March

Order off Global Golf says it will ship out Feb 5 and arrive by the 11 we will see.

Posted the following on another thread, this may be useful to some.

Attended the Pete Carlson Demo Days in Palm Desert, had the opportunity to demo all the G410's at the Ping booth at the College of the Desert outdoor range yesterday, really liked what Ping did with the 410 driver, a bit larger head & a bit more forgiving, that said, I'm not planning to swap my G400 for the 410 driver or 3 wood just yet. My guess is Ping will release a new "Slider" version next time around. I may upgrade my G400 Hybrids, the new 410's finally came out with an adjustable adapter. The sound is a bit similar to the G400, easy on the hearing. Also like the color scheme and new alignment aid on the back of the driver crown is a bonus. If you have the opportunity give them a try before you buy, price tag was $499.99 for the driver. Asked if they had them in the store yet .... they said should be in shortly.

Cheers

David

Did you (or has anyone) get/have a chance to try the G410 LST FW? That's the stick that has my interest piqued the most.

Hi ... There was a number of guys standing in line to try the various Ping G410's .... I focused in on the driver, I had the 3 wood in hand it had a senior flex in it, sorry, didn't have a chance to demo it. I've had the G400 3 wood now for just over 1 year, I'm not planning on upgrading to the 410 this time around.

Cheers

I have not found the 410 LST to hit yet but if the launch and feel are anything like the 410 hybrid, I will buy it on the spot. I love the 3 degree flat setting on the new adapter. I play everything 3 flat to be anti left and these will complete the bag perfectly.

You won’t be finding the LST version anytime soon. Check back in 6 months...

There will not be an LST version of the G410 driver. The engineers at Ping basically said they can’t make the regular G410 any better so Ping won’t make an LST version.

This is the fairway thread. All 3 versions launching in March. Unless you are saying that they will be back ordered immediately

I ordered my lst 3 wood today. Was told it would ship in time for the 3/7 launch. I hit it yesterday and again today. The feel is so solid. It was easy to launch and was probably the best fairway for consistency in striking that I have ever hit. With the ability to adjust the lie 3 flat it was a no brainer for me. I guess I wasted money on that f9 tour. I tried it against the epic flash, my f9, and the ts2. I had previously hit the m5 and didn't like that one either. For me, the clear winners in fairways and hybrids this year are the g410s. Now i just have to continue the search for the perfect shaft.

This is what they said about the Max version. Not LST version
