To be fair to Phil, the fairways at Pebble are at the same width as they will be for the US Open, and it was wet enough that a ball out of the rough would still hold. He played it nearly perfectly for the conditions. His strategy will have to change if it's dry and hard for the Open, but this was masterful play.

Yeah Callaway is a bit confusing in that way. When the Rogue came out they said it wasn't an Epic replacement and they are saying the Flash isn't a Rogue reaplacement, so who knows...?

Snedeker was hitting the original TM Superfast (the black one) for years. I think Westwood took a few years to part with his G10 as well. I can understand why a pro would be reluctant to part with a club that he's successfully earning his livelihood with.

They also stop all marketing push and advertisement for Epic when Rogue was released, and Rogue when Flash was released. I've had this same discussion with Callaway each launch. It definitely doesn't help the consumer to know each isn't a replacement for the previous year's product line.
