I noticed that a week or so ago, good eye. Its easy to spot with those 3 lines on it.

Supposed to be a great ball. My local store is telling me they are flying off the shelf. AVX had the same reception initially. Now the ProV1 and X current generation are selling fast too. The bridgestone balls always seem to have high stock when I am at the store as well so I am guessing they aren't particularly popular.

 

The weirdest thing is, the Chromesoft Truvis when initially launched were nowhere to be found. They still sell fast. But, my current shop can't seem to keep more than 10 of each model or color on the shelves at a time. Other balls and brands have at least 20 dozen stacked high.

Surprised someone like Phil would want all the alignment lines. Yeah his versa has the contrasting colors, but just a simple, single alignment line.

He’s had the three lines on his ball for some time, since last season IIRC. It surprised me when I first saw it, wondering if Phil marked his balls that way or if it was a Callaway thing.

I’d by them. I hate drawing the sharpie line on my ball only to have it fade a bunch 7 holes later.

So, for those of you who use these alignment lines while putting, does it screw up your alignment when chipping? Now you are looking at lines that are crossways with your line. If they work when aligned on the green, shouldn't they screw up your vision and alignment when they are crooked?

I'm a fan of a the most clean look possible. maybe from years of balls having one logo and little else.

prefer if possible to align it with the logo facing away or down. it seems to be more quieting to the eye.

putter has an alignment mark. look at the hole and decide a line that the ball has to follow.

 

at times we'll stumble across a lost ball so marked up it looks like a subway car in New York City. baffling.
