Can you shop a Costco without being a member? I think I remeber reading you can order online, but do they offer something like a temporary or day pass into a physical store?

You can get into a Costco without a card, just tell them you're going to the pharmacy. You can't purchase anything except prescribed pharmaceuticals without a membership.

So, yeah, you can check them out for free.*

*Pennsylvania (YMMV)

guess you have to do the good ol' "heeey biker dude, can you please buy us beer.. i mean... armada cart bag please?".. I'll be right here.

Psst...hey dude, I left my ID at home, would you grab me one of these, I’ll make it worth your while!

What’s sad is I don’t even like the 14 way tops, but now I’d kind of like one to protect my new iron shafts.

You can buy alcohol in several states without a membership.

"Since retailers are issued a public license to sell alcohol, it’s another service that must be available to the general public. However, this particular situation is limited to state law. So if you’re in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Texas or Vermont, you’re in luck!"

Have someone that's a member buy you a $25 Costco cash card.

Allows you entry into the store and you're able to purchase anything at the register when you present the card

I'd say the odds of a specific bag, in your selected color being in stock at your nearest Costco is very slim. Your best bet would be to call the store rather than driving.

I've been in two of the Pittsburgh area stores this week (on other important related Costco Business) and this time of the year their golf related stock is just about nil.

There are still UA carry bags available online. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger because soon they'll be gone as well.

As I said previously, I jumped on the 14 way stand version when it popped up in round 2. Great bag.

My friend ordered the 14 way cart bag but it didn't fit his requirements, so he returned it to his local Costco, no questions asked.

I love the look of my blue Armada but the base doesn't look like a good design for a Clicgear. Also, it looks like it's going to sit the clubs at a weird angle on a push cart. The Sync and Ping Traverse are probably better push cart bags.

I couldn't really tell which of the current carry bags correlates to which Sun Mountain bag but I'm thinking it's the 3.5 and 4.5 but each a little heavier. I ordered one of each, knowing how great Costco is about returns. I remember last i saw the SM bags the lighter one felt too cheap to be worth gaining a pound. If the reviews on these are accurate, I might end up keeping both!

For those of you that missed the 14 way stand bag. UA outlet has the red color 14 way on sale plus an additional 20% off. Ships for free and is under $150 tax included.

I haven't looked at the UA bags in awhile, but if I recall correctly it would be more like 4.5LS and 5.5LS. I think the 3.5LS is quite a bit lighter and smaller profile than the UA bags.

I plan to return the Armada cart bag today because I don't think the bottom will work with a Clicgear and the angled top (similar to C130) sucks on a push cart.

Not sure. My guess is 3.5 or maybe somewhere between the two, but that is just a guess. Can you check the specs and try to compare? All I know is that I am pleased with the Match Play so far. I have the light blue/steel (gray) bag, and it has drawn a lot of compliments out on the course. Good, solid 4-divider bag with good pockets, etc.

I got one of each of the stand bags. The heavier one is probably closer to a 5.5, it's quite robust. I am a little disappointed that just from a few rounds, the hip pad is pilled and really rubbed funny. I'd also consider it heavier than expected while carrying, but that's likely a product of more pockets mean more crap. It really doesn't sit well on a Clickgear, but it's not terrible. I'd say the lighter one is the 4.5, which I've owned previous generation of. When I've seen the 3.5 in person it was notably light and spartan. Hope that helps.

At this point I'm deciding if I just keep both, or return one. I'm tempted to show them that hip pad and see if they'll take it back, because it shouldn't be that worn so quickly.

How bad is the hip pad, can you post a pic?
