The insert looks very similar to the subtle milling that has been seen on a few of the PLD putters as of late. As it looks like a DIY job, it was possibly the quickest way for PING to provide a PLD insert at a moments notice. I doubt that it will be gamed.

Yeah was a problem with the earlier LST G400s. Mine is missing it as well, I just slapped some lead tape over it to keep out the grass/dirt after the driver smashes into the ground.

Its interesting that his HZRDUS T1100 says MID SPIN. All of the ones I've seen have said LOW SPIN. Odd that there's a different profile in that shaft, instead of just using a different shaft.

Looks like the weight is missing. Probbaly has the weight repositioned in the head wit hotmelt

I have almost identical wear on my 60 degree sole. I was thinking maybe my wedge was a degree or two upright, but was wondering if it could be due to the amount of chips I hit with an open face? Seeing Louis wear makes me feel better about it.

 

Any thoughts?

Trust me its low spin, and I mean low - I have it in my driver and its a pole, but suprisingly smooth
