Jealous of his shoe collection. Any connection to jumpman golf shoes?

I'm just here for some good glove recommendations... the UA CoolSwitch Boys Large is too small now. Everything I've found though is just a little too long in the fingers.

I mean, you don’t want him to see the packaging, but have you tried women’s gloves? My 10 yr old daughter can almost fit into the smallest women’s FJ. Maybe take him to the store, hide the boxes, and ask him to try some on.

Alll above have outfitted Witt Winn junior grips (blue)

Putter: Odyssey Metal X Milled

Glove: NONE! Too much hassle for an my 8 year old to keep up with

Shoes: adidas Boa jr.

* we have the TS3 54” irons on deck, but I think atill a bit long/upright for his setup. He is right at 54” by the way.. with past sets I’ve found he is usually ready about an inch above the recxomensed range.

Dad

TS3 driver/ tensei Blue stiff, spider tour black putter, and Cleveland 588 wedges. Old 712 Ap1 Irons and other wood and hybrid are old junk....but going to Sea Island in a few weeks for a fitting for irons, woods/hybrids. Time to reinvest a little in my own game.

Hangon, I’m totally envious you’re getting fit at Sea Island. It’s on my list of things to do in the next couple years. Just a magnificent facility. Take some time to have lunch in the men’s grill.

Anyone here have better / newer clubs than their kids ? It seems that with most parents I know including me that the kids are getting the latest and greatest and I know for me I’m still playing ping s58’s from about 10 yrs ago ( not sure why ) just seem to be more into my sons stuff than mine.

I think you can apply that across the board to having kids...they get clothes more than I do, etc. etc.

Plus I get to experience the thrill of researching and purchasing new clubs with no guilt from my wife. “Honey, she needs new clubs...she’s outgrown the set we bought this Spring.” My wife likes a good budget, and the daughter’s golf budget has one more zero than dad’s.

I have only played golf 3 times in the last year. But I have walked many miles cadding around courses. It has been fun. Would trade it for anything in the world

Yes, I’ve heard it’s great. Only doing irons, but really the pricing is comparable to local fitters . Big benefit is that it is outdoors on real grass. I got fit for a new driver a few

Months ago at an indoor place. Fitter was great, but for me it’s very hard to get proper feel hitting into a screen. Wish I would of waited and done a full bag at Sea Island because I am not totally in love with the new driver.

I can’t play anymore. I just pay the bills. I tore my labrum in my left shoulder and too painful to do certain things. I don’t want to get surgery, although it may be inevitable.

Recovery from surgery only gets harder with age. Do it now. Many people put off ortho surgery, only to wish they had done it sooner once the recovery is over. I’m referring specifically to joints. Back surgery is a different beast.
