My wife and I were in Las Vegas over the weekend to attend a friend wedding. My wife has known him since the 1st grade and I met him starting high school. After the wedding the father of the bride said he had 2 tickets to the George Strait concert last night and was making a really good deal for those. While I am not a huge Country Music fan I realize that George Strait is iconic in the Country Music scene. My wife has seen him before and is a fan. Needless to say the concert was outstanding and George can still sing incredibly. I am glad to have George Strait on my list now!

 

Next scheduled concert ..... February 2019/Denver/Ogden Theater/Joe Jackson.

Just seen Greensky Bluegrass last night and they are absolutely impeccable. If you enjoy bluegrass, folk, and rock n roll then you'll love em. Best string band I've ever seen.

I was considering Billy Joel but the tickets (non-nosebleeds) are a bit pricey for my blood. I've got Joe Jackson at the Paramount in Denver on the 24th, Kansas at the Paramount on 3/30. I am sure these won't be the last concerts for 2019.

My wife and I saw Brit Floyd (ultimate Pink Floyd tribute band) at a sold out Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO last night. They were absolutely incredible and honored the music of Pink Floyd perfectly. If I closed my eyes I could swear I was listening to Pink Floyd, themselves. I would definitely see Brit Floyd again (next year at Red Rocks).

 

Next up is Santana with the Doobie Brothers next month at The Pepsi Center in Denver.
