I was looking forward to improvements. Now all I get is the website schedule showing coverage of today’s golf right now, only to have it not show up in the app. What am I paying for again?

I paid the $65 and have it mainly to stream coverage while at work on Thursdays and Fridays. Weekend action I can catch on off-hours on my computer will be gravy. I'll log enough hours to make the purchase a no brainer I reckon.

I know, its just that I pay a crap ton to direct tv. I get sunday ticket, mlb package and sports pack. It just irritates me that pga doesn't air their entire tournaments on tv. I can't always watch when working, but I can dvr for later viewing. I got the tour live last year, I barely watched it. I'll probably get this year too.

I'm having constant problems with the app, I'm a paid subscriber and half the time I launch the player, it says I'm not a subscriber, even though I'm logged in. I'm getting a new error this morning as well. I've been trying to watch for the last half hour. This is garbage. Not sure if others have the issue, I'm on a Pixel 3 XL.

It’s several little things.

 

Same as poster above. Sometimes it tells me I need to subscribe. So I X out and go back in ( from the site not the app ) and then it recognizes me. Then you have to figure out how to get it to play. Its hidden in different spots. Then when you click sometimes it loads right up. Sometimes nothing happens. Then during play it will just freeze and have to reload. Also once during the day today the picture just was sooo low quality it was hard to make out logos on caps etc from close up.

 

From the app it freezes and bufffers quite a bit while driving . I try to play it through my truck speakers like radio. ( I’m not watching the screen ) and it just comes and goes. Yet it’s nit in known cell dead zones etc. previously with pga tour live I could do this no problem.

1) It’s fantastic especially on the Apple TV. Well worth the money. No problems here.

will have to try it on amazon tv - i couldn't get it to work on my native samsung browser on the tv, but dusted off the xbox it worked really well with that, great picture.

 

And yes, navigating to it is a PITA - i think they purposely have poor UX to reduce the bandwidth :)

Recently, I’ve lost ability to use the app via my WiFi on my iPad, laptop or phone - only way I can watch the PGA Live feed is via my phone using cellular service. No change in WiFi and it works fine with Netflix, Golf Channel, etc - just not NBC Sports / Gold. The tech service at NBC blame it on my ISP and have no other suggestions.

They still have early broadcast like they've had for decades. This changes absolutely nothing that the Golf Channel did in the past except for the very rare occasion of the featured holes.
