Calvin Klein "Shock".

Many females enjoy it I have found.

375x500.12520.jpg

Also......

For a special Saturday night, I have had a go to since the 80"s.

It always garners compliments when I wear it.

It's quite powerful and long lasting. I suggest using this superb fragrance sparingly.

I just buy whatever sounds good and is on sale from discount stores. I got stuff from Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Puma and a lot from some dude named Alfred Sung who i had to look up. One time i was out and this girl was like "is that Alfred Sung" ....i was shocked that this was a brand anyone knew. I know i got it for like 20$ from Winners .

I really don't know much about Cologne. When i was single i just wanted to smell decent enough for women not to outright refuse to sleep with me based on smell alone. Now, i care a bit less.

Lots of those thousands were cheerleaders Q. Thought you might like to know.

Also make note that I have found it is useless on Mormon girls.

Wonder if someone might have a bottle of this juice under a bathroom sink somewhere.

If so pm me as it would be a guaranteed hit in the AVL I reside in. Portland, Seattle, Denver, and now Detroit too!

My wife got me Invictus by Paco Rabanne. It's okay. I never shop for fragrances myself, but I may sample some of the scents posted here.

When I was a kid in the mid '60's, probably 11 or 12, I was gifted with a cologne called Hai Karate. I hated it. In moments of boredom, I would pour Hai Karate on cars from model kits I'd built that I had tired of, and burn them. I did this in the driveway, of course.

I too was a kid in the mid 60's. I would create make believe car accidents with my Hot Wheels ( the ones used were the ones that fell out of favor with me).

So I would crush them in pops vise on his workbench in the garage. I would then use a small hammer to do some additional greater damage to the wrecks toy cars.

My imagination would only go so far, as I came up with a pile of matches placed on one of the cars hoods, and then light the pile for my flaming wreck creation. YOU had the brilliance to douse them with cologne. So far advanced you were sir.

Much more insightful than me ohiogolfer. lol Let us both agree that so much playtime imagination took place on the driveways of America by young boys in the 1960's. Today it's Play Station / video nonsense. Get outside and create some fun activity you young lads of today.

oh and yes this cologne's TV spots were legendary.

Here are a few classics.

Back in like 7th grade I got a bottle of Michael Jordan cologne, which was pretty awful. I've used some real doozies in the past, including (but not limited to):

Canoe

Brut

Cool Water

Aspen

Obsession

Polo Sport

Curve

I have thankfully never messed with Drakkar Noir LOL

Colognes I like are:

YSL - La Nuit De L'Homme

Paco Rabanne - 1 Million (not sure why)

Azaro - Chrome

Mont Blanc also has a few subtle scents that I've enjoyed.

Sorry to derail the thread to the 70's cologne flashbacks. It's just that there is some classic cheese/sleaze available that I thought might bring a chuckle or two to you guys.

I’ve got more than I can remember. The few I wear on a rotating basis:

Old Spice - just because. I use old spice aftershave most of the time, so I wear this usually on days when I shave.

EastWest Bottlers Bluegrass ( it’s a fantastic fragrance and my wife loves it)

D.S. Durga Burning Barber Shop - smells about like you would think it does. Smokey and quite complex. It is quite strong, so not much is needed. The description on the site says “A fire broke out in the Curling Bros. barbershop in Westlake, N.Y. in 1891. All the shaving tonics with their spearmint, lime, vanilla and lavender burned. A charred bottle was found half-full. It smelled like this.“. I believe it, lol. One of my favorite scents

Czech & Speake #88 - Smokey incense with a rose base. Another One of my favorites

Joop Nightflight - this one got hard to find for a while. Haven’t bought it in a long time and I’m almost out

My uncle and I were quite close growing up. He was very much into fragrances. He always had a massive collection. When he passed away, I took al of them. I have taken up the slack and carry on the obsession, lol

I think that is kind of special. I bet in someway your uncle knows you are continuing on with one of his passions. I'd say that is cool indeed.

Ok I'll play and give away my age :)

English Leather

English Leather Lime

Pub

Jade East

Brute

I don't use any of them now but I did like the Pub. Can't find it anymore but I hear some company recreates it.

I'm with you age wise and I had what you've listed except for Pub although I had Hai Karate.
