Definitely changed up the top of bag. 5 wood has less loft and took out the 4 iron AP2 for a 3 iron AP2. Probably some bending a degree week and 5 iron 1 degree strong

I hated that putter when it was announced but it is growing on me. I wonder if Scotty will be welding JT a flow neck on this one soon?

I agree! I’m digging the set up with the 5wd, a more forgiving 3 iron and extra wedges.

Out of the 15 clubs, which do you think sees the least time in his bag? Only somewhat redudant are the 5w and 3 iron (but deff a distance gap in there), so Im guessing either one of those or a wedge?

To be fair, there usually is an AP2 4 iron in the bag and no 3 iron. Normally he doesn't change too much in the bag with the odd exception being the 5 wood coming out in place of a 2 iron at The Open.

 

Either, he just doesn't see any 4 iron shots at TPC Scottsdale or it's a relatively weak 3 iron and his 5 iron has been strengthened to cover a gap.

I had the 915Fd in 15 degrees and it is an absolute beast. Tried it and the regular 915F when I was buying and the Fd just blew the regular one out of the water off the tee.

Can't understand why Titleist seemed to move away from it and go bigger from the 917 range onwards. Having two distinct options with the Fd being the smaller head seemed to make perfect sense.

Love the putter. Would love to compare it with the Toulon Las Vegas. Something about that fang head shape has my interest.

Awesome set. That is the set I would play. I like the 60.5 K custom grind. It looks more versatile than the stock grind.

JT really does not seem to be putting well with the new proto. Curious why he hasn't put the old weld neck X5 back in the bag as he appeared to be very confident with it.

 

I realize the 5.5 shaft provides the same toe hang but it just doesn't seem to "flow" as nicely as the weld neck - much more "mechanical" looking to me. I'd have to assume his stroke is slightly different (more square - square) just looking down on it.

How are you assuming this from pictures?? There is no spec sheet for his builds anywhere
