I’m in Australia. For the first time in ever coverage of the WGC this week will not be on FTA or Pay TV. Streaming on GolfTV only.

 

Everything I’ve read about this service says it’s not good. No weekend coverage, only early round coverage on Thursday and Friday. Just seems like a scam.

 

Would be interested in hearing from any Aussies who’ve used the service. Do they show full coverage of the Euro Tour?

I’m in Oz and signed up yesterday and it seems all good. I couldn’t find the App on Apple TV but I subscribed through my iMac computer from their website. To watch it on TV, I downloaded the App to my iPhone and signed in, then started watching on the phone and use the mirror function through my iPhone and Apple TV to get it on to the TV. I hope this is of some help to others. :-)

The app on AppleTv will be released shortly. That is what I have been told. You can use Airplay, it works fine!

 

I am based in DK, EU. The service works perfectly here. The PGA coverage is amazing. Streaming is the future. So tired of old fashion flow-tv.

Yep. I just logged on and I see (Live Now) 14:15 GMT- 18:00 GMT, than 18:00 GMT - 00:00 GMT.

I'm in Canada and will not be resubscribing. Unless your a Tiger fan this is a pretty useless service. A couple of fall tournaments and nothing this weekend.

Also in Canada - I've got basically nothing playing here. As we speak, I have a schedule stating that the TOC is currently playing, but there's nothing available to stream. I basically pay a monthly fee for these people to tell me that there's a golf tournament on that I can't watch.

At the start of lockdown in the UK, I signed up to it to have something to watch. It was either that or Sky Golf which at that point was basically showing the same re-runs over and over and over again.

 

I cancelled the monthly subscription after the second month. Whilst it was relatively inexpensive, there was nothing there to keep me interested for too long. At a guess, it might be better when there are actual tournaments running but there did not seem to be much new things being added to it and my thought was that they missed a trick by not having as much full replays of certain events. Surely, it would not have been too difficult for them to post them up there. After Golf TV I got subscription to Golf Pass free through my Sky Sports contract. If that hadn’t been free for a year, I would have cancelled that by now as well.

I’m living in another part of the world now. Being in NZ, Skysport here also have the featured group which I enjoyed at Golf.tv. So no point here to have a subscription.
