Club Pro Guy

Poor Posture

Recommended Posts

It's interesting - he's gone far to hide his identity. No name comes up looking at data registered to his website. He has no US copyright filings. He has one US trademark filing with the owner being Club Pro Guy, LLC - which is an entity formed in Wyoming in 2018. The registered agent is some mail forwarding place in Wyoming. He even had Registered Agents, Inc. file the organization papers for the LLC. I'm not seeing a name on first glance.

Not trying to be a jerk but just fyi, nothing you mentioned is really unusual for someone doing business. Wyoming is a popular place to register your LLC because it's simple, inexpensive, and has good liability and privacy protection. And you have to have a registered agent with a Wyoming address, so using one of those services is totally normal. Also having a private registration on your domain name is very common. And making your LLC the owner of your Trademarks is also standard practice.

I do all the things you mentioned and it's not to hide my identity. It's just better for a variety of reasons and from a legal standpoint to have everything owned by your LLC.

Interesting! Do YOU have a charity benefiting single/divorced mothers? Do YOU have a Miata registered to your "LLC"? Can you account for YOUR whereabouts during the '91 Yucatan Masters?

10% off total purchase right now.

Still way overpriced, but I jumped on the "Drive/Punch Out/Approach/Chip/Putt/Putt = Net Par" and "Drive for Show - Punch Out for Dough" shirts. I've had the El Chappo's Taint shirt for a while now, and it's well made and is comfortable, so who cares if it's overpriced - the profits go towards Single/Divorced moms getting lessons at reduced costs and getting them back out in circulation, growing the game!

Would I tell you if I did? No. But I can tell you that I just shot 87 using the 747 swing thought system. And I've never been more satisfied with any swing system in my entire life. Except the week I won the Caribbean Championship using nothing but the "Perfect Club" and 53 degree sand wedge, only thinking about extending my right arm as far as possible away from the target on both the backswing and downswing.

What is to be gained by exposing this guy's identity? Will it make the jokes more entertaining? IMO if you enjoy the guy, leave him alone and let him do his thing. If he loses anonymity, I guarantee that his schtick is going to suffer.

On a serious note. Cart girl selection presser was today, I think. Hard hitting

Good God, now you're gonna make me go on Twitter I guess, and I really do hate that. CPG is the only thing I've ever done in the Twitterscape.

I got my El Chappo's Taint shirt last summer, and just received my "Drive for Show/Punch Out for Dough" and "Drive/Punch-Out/Approach/Chip/Putt/Putt/Net Five" shirts and they are great material, sized as advertised. Way over-priced unless you catch one of the promos, but I'm extremely happy.

If only he/someone would come out with the Tabasco/Chilliwear button up shirt he normally wears in his Learning Center/Thursday Men's League Pressers, he would make a MINT!

“I noticed readership of golf magazines is way down. Is there anything they can do to rebound?”

- I think these magazines need a bit more of an “US Weekly” or “TMZ” vibe. Who wouldn’t read an article with accompanying pics about an embarrassing Dottie Pepper on air nip slip?

“The USGA is proposing several new rule changes. Are you in agreement with their recommendations?”

- First of all, I was not aware that you couldn’t ground your club in a hazard. So that change will be seamless for me.

Just got a notice a while ago that there is a new podcast available with Jim Nantz! Can't wait to listen and see if he asks any hard hitting questions and if Nantz answers.

**edit** What a snooze fest! CPG doesn't ask the hard-hitting questions, Nantz goes on and on incessantly and refuses to answer anything even remotely close to "controversial". And no ads for the Pig Pen or Bust a Nut Lunch Buffet.

Geez, CPG shouldn’t have taken that interview

Nantz is a boring dummy . Speaking of, on who wants to be a millionaire they had newscaster week. People from news stations, the pretty ladies or dudes in suits. They struggled soooo hard with the easy questions. Super nice people, just not very bright. :/

Cheech Marin waxed the floor with Anderson Cooper on Jeopardy.

Wolf Blitzer didn't fair to well on Jeopardy either.

Bobby: I play because I love it.
Walter: Well I play for the money. I have to win. That is why every time we face each other I will always beat you.

Damn. Didn’t want to hear that. I’ll still listen though. The way the Rocco interview went, gotta say I saw this coming. I can imagine Nantz would be about as boring as possibly imaginable. Too famous to screw with. No personality to play off of.

Yes, still worth a listen. I think the more popularity CPG gains the bigger the his guests will be, and the less "honest" interviews we'll get.
