His last tour win was the 2016 Barbasol, maybe he's due another opposite field event.

If he was only a better ball striker because he can fill it up with the putter. Also made a 3 on a par 4 a few years ago after hitting his drive OB and then reteed and nailed his next shot. No video of it unfortunately.

Gary Player (I think it was) said Baddeley was more accomplished coming onto tour than Tiger...

Which was arguable...but not far off..

 

He could putt as well as anyone in the world in those days...

But he came on tour and got buzz sawed by Vijay, Tiger, Phil, Paddy and the other mid 2000s guys..

 

Was quite a player but historically I wouldn’t want to have peaked in 2007....too many buzz saws

Rory did a masterclass at the British Masters 2017 and said when he is trying to hit a high launching long iron he thinks of Baddley’s action.

Just my opinion.... i think Badds puts his faith and family before his golf these days. Iʻm sure he still wants the Wʻs but wonʻt sacrifice the first two listed. Always been a huge fan of his swing, to bad he derailed himself with the StacknTilt years ago. Itʻs a long way back.

My mental “go to” for a putting routine is the Badds way.

Just seen him leading the Puerto Rico Open, which was a major surprise.

 

Seems he's had great improvements with a golf coach... Brad Malone.

When he was 18-20 and won the Australian Open twice, first time as an amateur, he had the most incredible swing, simple, effective, pure, silky, just beautiful, after he went to the Masters and got on the PGA tour for whatever reasons decided he had to change his swing, changed it for years, which in my uneducated opinion was a real shame, then I think, last year, or maybe 2017 I read an article where he said he was trying to get his original swing back.....Maybe IBF was his mentor! Hmmmmm.....
