IMO the prior years x-cb look way better than the new x-cbs.

 

Also IMO the x-cbs are every bit as forgiving as the j15s. They just don’t feels as pure across the entire face. The ball still does about what it does when you off-strike a j15 though. The benefit of the x-cb is the feel off the pure shots is > j15. The benefit of the j15 (if you see it that way) is better feel on slight miss hits.

Beautiful irons, the 37.75" 5 iron has always been Bridgestone's 5 iron specs I believe, they made it 38" in the J15 series but brought it back to 37.75".

I also have the tour b x cb '17 model. The mass behind the sweet spot makes them feel incredible! Soft, but solid and crisp. Can only imagine these will feel very similar, but maybe in a slightly smaller package? They are making my favorite shape irons right now, these included from the pics.

I love these irons. I actually find them really forgiving for this type iron. Almost as forgiving as the J15’s which I ha e.

Definitely a sweet set of clubs. Has to be said that Bridgestone is putting out the best shaped irons these days, or at least to my eye anyway. Although I’m quite happy with my 2017 X-CBs, they’ve been in the bag a while now so I’m starting to think about a new set. Hopefully we start seeing a new NA line of clubs soon, or I might have to hunt down the newer CB version. Like GC70 asked above...anyone hearing anything???

I have recently become a total convert to the J15 CBs. Probably one of the best irons I have every played. Love them so much that my Ping Blueprints and Mizuno MP18s will be coming to BST soon.

 

And these look like the next logical step. Wish they would come to the US market soon!

I agree with this. Notice mishits a lot more than J15CBs but the performance is comparable.

I’d be curious to know Bridgestone’s thought process in not bringing these to the US? They make solid product, but their business strategy is baffling.

I really hate the superman style logo in the middle. It destroys the lines. Leave it straight and stamp a smaller B in the middle, it would be absolutely perfection.
