Just a shoutout to all great people here on WRX, and the Nike guys in particular. It's funny how this connects the world and brings the golfing community closer regardless of where we live.

I got my 006 and 001 from two great WRX members, both contributors to this thread and just great guys. One lives in Australia, the other in Canada - I'm in Sweden. I just love that. Go Nike, go WRX!

.

Both of those are awesome, but that Oven 001 is gorgeous.

Just picked up a pair of Vapor Speed hybris 3&4 with Blueboard 80s this morning at Edwin Watts in Jacksonville. Stupid good price for the pair out of the used bin. Hopefully the numbers on their launch monitor system come close to real world. First hybrids I’ve not seen turn left of left for me. No idea how to post pics but they show honest sandy soil face wear but otherwise in great shape. Thought the shafts would be a bit harsh for my swing speed/transition but opened my eyes to a different albeit older profile. Easy to work both ways(again not familiar with launch monitors there) and fairly good height with 35-40 degree landing angles. Never hit Nike before but was impressed with feel. Will update post Trackman session or outside real world when I get back up north. 3 hybrid #s made my current 5 wood look like it’s time to move on. Not sure where they will fit in my bag but liking the possibility of options.

Cheers Erik!

Very cool to see pics of one of my old sticks half way 'round the world! Haha happy putting ;)

I still use my Nike vapor fly pro driver. Just have not seen enough of an improvement of anything I have tried to warrant switching.

When I first got into golf I wanted a set of the Nike vapor fly irons so bad

I just switched this year from the Vapor Fly Pro driver to the Cobra F9. It was the first thing that changed numbers for me enough to warrant the change.

Yeah I have heard the f9 is super nice. I need to try it out. Also love that cobra doesn't go crazy with their price points.

The srixon z785 kicked my flex 440 out as the gamer. I still prefer the shape and size of the 440 head and on center strike I think the flex440 is still as long or longer. but the difference was the forgiveness....I have been places on the course on obvious mishits with the z785 I didn’t know I could reach.

Still no plans to get rid of the Vapor Fly - I've only just figured out how to hit a draw (on command) with it :)

Seriously though, I play abroad a lot so normally end up with a rental bag, so have tried a variety of other drivers, mostly Titleist (917 and TS Range), but a few others as well. I'm always happy to get back to the Blue Thunder - just as long, straighter and much better feel to it.

The Dee Three - Titleist TS4 9.5 deg, EvenFlow White 6.5 65g, A1 Setting

Henrik - Titleist 917 F3 15 deg, Rogue Max 75x, B2 Setting

The Walking Stick - Titleist 818 H2 19 deg, Rogue Max 85x, B2 Setting

The Interloper - TaylorMade P770 3 iron, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5inch +1 deg loft

The Blades - Nike VR Pro 4 - AW, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5 inch

The Sand Iron - TaylorMade MG2 TW-12 Grind, 56 degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Flopper - TaylorMade MG2 TW-11 Grind, 60 Degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Putter - Nike Method 003 from The Oven

Same here. Just picked up another 60 Square. I have a set that I replaced for fresh grooves, my gamer set, and 2 backup sets with different combinations of lofts/sole grinds for different conditions. I keep saying I am going to look at other wedges, but the design, the heavy SW, the raw finish, and the cost of these makes them the perfect wedges for me IMO.

I agree 100%... I've played Vokey's my entire life and thought nothing could ever change that... but these are great... my local shop has 3 new 56° in the plastic... so i should be safe for a while

So a while back I picked up this Artisan Engage 46* wedge head. It had some scarring on the sole from rocks/cart path or something (you can't really see the deepest one in the picture). I wanted to get it cleaned up before I put it in play. I was going to send it off to have it fixed, but I decided to give it a shot myself. Put a couple different grit scotch-brite wheels on and went to work this afternoon. I think it turned out pretty well. There is something satisfying about working on the same wedge that was likely worked on by MT at some point. Going to put some lead tape over the stamping - that should counter any weight lost during the restore. May bead blast the face as well before it gets shafted up.

Best place to get the engage wedges online?

Your best bet is ebay and used sites like Global Golf, 3balls, 2nd Swing. If they're overly rusty when they come in, just give it a CLR bath and wipe it down and it will clean right up.

The bag all cleaned up and ready to go for 2019 - only slight change is I might drop the VFP 2 Iron for an 818 H2 Hybrid to give myself a few more options, but otherwise the swooshes are staying :)

I realize this is probably a pretty subjective question, but here goes anyway;

Which Nike 3w is most similar to the VRS Covert 2.0 (this one)? It's probably my favorite wood ever but mine is pretty beat up. They're getting pretty hard to find in nice shape/decent prices so I'd like something as close as possible to keep in the closet for when the time comes to retire it.
