Masters ticket winners (?)

To those of you who won, either now or in the past....when you fill out the form to enter the yearly drawing, do you pick 4 tickets every day? Or do you pick only 2 tickets for a specific day? Im wondering if the reason I have never been picked (besides being unlucky) is because I make all the days and the maximum number of tickets?

i pick the max amount for every day. i got tickets 5 years ago (in NYC), my brother in law and other colleague (overseas) got tickets last year. all for practise rounds.

Last year I won Wednesday practice tickets and they showed up February 26 (took a picture because I was so excited). I won 2 Sunday tickets this year and have not seen them yet. Will update when I get them.

Wow, jealous. as. hell!

Wow. 2 years on a row. My streak is alive. Lol. Never

Trust me I was not expecting to get tickets either year, let alone 2 years in a row. It was probably year 10 of entering the lottery for tickets.

Yep. Happy for you. Have a blast ! It’s the resellers that seem to keep winning them that drive me bonkers.

Newbs - though you blocked out the serial numbers, I would still strongly recommend you delete that picture of your tickets. Protect yourself from someone using your image for any ticket sale listings or any other way that AGNC would use as grounds to invalidate your tickets. Though you’re probably 99.99% safe, I think it’s better to be safe than sorry come April...

Edit: I’m excited to see what the 2019 tickets look like! Means my two are likely on the way!

As somebody mentioned, you should never post pics of your tickets online.

Noted. I highly doubt that these could be duplicated based on all the security embedded and that I have the receipt which I have to take with me, but you never know...

Its not that they would be duplicated, its that a seller could list them online and ANGC could see that and deactivate the tickets, just based on the barcodes/color codes

You can always buy Masters tickets for Mon, Tue, Wed practice rounds the day of. Just show up early on Washington Rd. and you will be greeted by multiple "brokers". Expect to pay anywhere from $300 to $600 each depending on time of day. The later in the morning, the more motivated the brokers become...they don't want to get stuck with tickets. This has been going on at Washington Rd for years...almost a "tradition". No golf event treats the public better than the Masters. Free parking, free tournament booklet, fair food and beverage prices, great golf course, wonderful people...enjoy!

That’s just a hard thing to trust.

I’m the guy that has the luck , that I’d show up , and one or two things would happen. I’d either get there and no tickets to be found. Or I’d buy some and then immediately get hit by the cops or Green coats and banned for life. I don’t want to be the guy who sets fire to butler cabin. (A joke) But I fear that’s a possibility if i make the trek ( finally). and don’t get in. If it’s meant to be I’ll get picked.

Got ours in the mail last week!!!

Same day drive down or finding accommodations?

I wonder if all the hotels book up like crazy there. I’m sure they do

Booked a hotel in Columbia so we can take advantage of the full day.

Nice! I’m going to try to get down to Savannah this year . Dream visit would be to see Andrew Rice for driver lesson and Chip Usher for clubs .

Yes, exactly, that's the concern. Someone could grab your pic and use it on ebay, for example. ANGC have been trying to clamp down this in recent years. Somebody last year (I think) posted a letter they got, saying their tickets had been cancelled.
