Big break related Brian Cooper from the Big Break has limited access to the Champions Tour this year. It would be nice to see him get some starts and have success. He was a good personality on the show.

I posted the question to Robert Damron in the Morning Drive thread in Tour Talk. Might has we’ll see if the WRX wishes could get heard by the GC execs.

I liked the show and would like to see it come back.

 

But, you gotta admit, the end of each show, with the sad sack walking toward the horizon all alone, always kinda made me chuckle.

hated it by the last series, but it was the announcers that made it unbearable (Abbott- sb on a wedding dress show, not golf) and the old tired 'tests' of golf, and stupid make believe personality likes/hates the producers attempt to play up. Let them just play head to head matches, and find another FInau, Bryan, 2 gloves, werenski. The other obvious problem is they have to fill out the field with diversity. I mean the cross handed guy with dreads was a great under dog story but not all are like him......

The guy with dreds that played cross handed is named Will and he is from Charlotte NC---- I know some folks that know him and they say he is one golf hustling dude

She showed up in my rinky dink shop a couple of years ago with this smooth talker trying to get our customer email database for a company they were starting where hot young female golfers play in your outing with you. He was trying to name drop her to entice me, I knew she was, wasn’t impressed, and told him no.

 

When I asked him what was in it for my company, he was stumped and gave up. If he walked in with Blair, we might have sat down and talked, but I’ll tell you this boys, 5 years after the show, she was no 10.

I loved the big break. Feherty is the only show on the golf channel that i like more. I would definitely watch if they brought it back.

Even when it was a mess, it was entertaining. Much more so that than the movie reruns prevously mentioned, or the instruction shows that seem to have the hosts on speed.

 

What about Pipe Dreams? Whatever happened with that parasite? That was an amazing study in delusion.

Would love to see a new season of Big Break. Would be nice to see them bring Tony Finau on as an exec producer and take it to the next level. Also would love to see it tie in the First Tee program somehow. They both exemplify the idea of dreaming big, creating opportunities through golf, and being fueled by a passion for golf.

They need to do a big break college admission event. Bunch of high school kids and a scholarship on the line. That would be cool although, I am not sure if that would mess up their AM status.
