When do the Buy 3 Get 1 Free deals usually start?

I got this from my club today. Looks like it starts 3/22 but they are taking orders at my club now due to participation last year. All balls (V1, V1X, AVX) in both colors included (white, yellow).

son of a... I just bought a bunch of AVX's a few weeks ago, had a sneaking suspicion they were discounted because this was coming.

My club sent out the notice last week. Ordered 4 doz V1x kind of on a whim. Thought I liked V1 the best, but my ball flight has been low lately and wedges weren’t stopping as quickly as other balls it seemed. So I figured V1x would fix those problems.

 

Then I got worried because I hate a hard, clicky ball and that was the whole reason I went to V1 a couple of years back.

 

But I found 3 V1x on the course yesterday, put one in play and loved it. Drives instantly got higher. I stopped a wedge from 55 yards on a downslope. And it felt great off the putter. I think I have a winner.

 

Does anyone know if you can mix and match colors or whatever with their 3 + 1 deal...ie could I buy 3 white x but get a yellow v1 free?

Our lazy pro's make us fill out the order sheets, I feel like you have to do all of them the same on the buy three get one, but someone else may have a different experience.
