PXG 0311T vs APEX PRO

They are basically the same. My brother played original Apex Pros with a Project X 6.5 and my friend played Gen1 0311Ts with a Project x 7.0. and his brother played Apex Pros with C-Taper Xs. There was pretty much zero difference performance wise. Its all looks (subjective), feel, that said if I had to buy a set, Id go with the cheaper option.

Well lofts are weaker on PXG, I have pxg 0311 t....its basically a ping iron

Have hit apex cf16 and maybe tad easier idk...more springy and bit longer for sure

Callaway is more rounded where pxg is more boxy...

Size if heads are similar though shape is different...cally maybe touch thicker on top

Chit, just seen you said pro not std apex...

One is rounded and one more boxy

Pick one you like better

PXG looks identical to ping iron at address...if you like that you'll like these...I have em

Prices of one piece forged iron have gotten crazy

Performance/dispersion is YOU! and what you hit/like better (for whatever reason)...its not one is physically better than another...

0311t feels and off center misses out performs any competitors. Its forgiveness off center wise is way better.

However it wont forgive your swing flaws just like any other players irons.

Apex pro are slimmer topline wise and shorter in the blade length. Good feel on the center but clicky off center as expected.

I played apex pro for a few rounds and sold them once I bought the 0311t.

I have a set of Apex/Apex Pros combo set with MMT 105TX shafts and a set of Gen 3 311T/P combo with DG X100 120 shafts. The Apex's are slightly longer due to stronger lofts. The T/P's feel better and are more consistent club to club. Looks I give to the PXG but that's pure opinion. Size wise they are both pretty close. Like others have said, the PXGs look like Ping irons at address. I wish I could have gotten the PXGs with the MMT 105TX shafts though.

Curious of your T/P set up? Where do you go from P to T?

Hi, so...I sold my PXG after I got a mixed set of 4-5apex dcb,6-7 apex 21 and  8-aw apex 21 pro w steelfiber shafts 80.

Completely dialed in.  I love the apex pro 21 for those short dialed in to green shots...just clicks w my game.  Apex 21 for 6 and 7 perfect.  I don't like hybrids so the dcb gives me that long, forgiving flight....without the nervousness of the forgiveness aspect.

Love the steelfiber on Apex...terrible for me on PXG for some reason.

.

PXG are very good to great irons...for me personally, the Callaway were a better fit.
