Just coffee so far.

Like the three of one. Great idea. Don't what it is but third pic does it for me.

It's an interesting concept, the owner has 4 restaurants in the Bay Area and this year will open one in Vegas.

The first is ahi tuna, next is chicken and waffles, last is Shrimp, cocktail, garlic skewers, phyllo wrapped.

The Six Dollar Thickburger at Carl's Jr. They quit making them again, though.

Nations Giant Hamburgers rock, I'll be in the Bay Area in May and eat a couple.

Here in Ohio, I have to settle for the Frisch's Super Big Boy. After that, it's McD's, Burger King, blah, blah, blah . . .

Nation's Giant Hamburgers when I'm in the Bay Area.

Carl's Jr. Six Dollar Thickburger was my #2 favorite, but they quit making them (again).

I don't eat out too often at home but I went to Vegas last month for my birthday and had a few good meals.

That food looks really good and it's making me hungry. Is that at Michael Mina's restaurant at Aria?

Yes. Well the last one was actually next door at Jean Georges but the first three pics were from Bardot Brasserie.

Funny I've lived in the Bay Area all of my life and never been to a Nations. All of them are in the east bay except for one in Daly City.

I went to the one in Vallejo when I lived there.

I haven't eaten at that Michael Mina restaurant but I've eaten at some of his other restaurants and they're very good. I've had really good steaks at Jean George.

I highly recommend Bardot. That was my first time trying it out and I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in town. As for Mina restaurants, I think the only other one I've been to is Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay.

Jean Georges was honestly a bit underwhelming. Well, I should say that the steak itself was. It was cooked properly but just didn't wow me like a lot of other steaks I've had in town. Everything else was on point though; sides, apps, service.

We'll have to try Bardot the next time we're in Vegas. Maybe Jean Georges isn't as good as it used to be as I haven't eaten their in a couple of years. There are a lot of good steak houses in Vegas and the only other Mina restaurant that I've eaten ate is at the Bellagio. My wife and I were in Vegas over the Thanksgiving holiday and we had a great Alba White Truffle dinner at Le Cirque and the service is second to none. We've been going there for many years so we know waiters, Sommelier and the bartender.

No pics, but for my 40th birthday, my father in law made me a fantastic Sauerbraten, spatzle, and a killer gravy made from the drippings and crushed ginger snaps!

That's a tasty, old country dish.
