While i 100% agree with your first sentence and your second to a degree. I do not believe that these two are good examples of "men being men"... more like alcoholics being alcoholics. i am ok with an argument, i am ok with defending your ground. i dont think i am ok with someone getting physical after being called a cheat and then taking a cheap shot with a headbutt. kinda proved the guys point.

Only had one personal situation similar. After several weeks of league play, I won the rolled over skins, less than $100. A drunk tried to Bogart me into buying drinks for everyone in the bar. I really didn't answer him, and he got nasty. Asked me if I was poor, he was going to take up a food collection, and some nastier comments. I just agreed with him, then ignored him. He kept muttering, and I left. Never played in the league again, the winnings covered my league dues.

 

Saw the jerk some months later. Acted like he was my best buddy.

 

Confrontation is just not worth t.
