I'm being facetious but at the same time, the cynic in me can't write off the possibility. He refuses to speak to reporters over the weekend in Mexico (something I'm not sure he's done 2 days in a row in his entire career) and now withdraws from this... Tiger hasn't been in front of reporters since the Bob Kraft story broke. While it seems very far fetched and like a total coincidence, part of me wonders if Tiger's camp knows that a journalist has some insider info and is waiting to drop a bomb.

Hopefully Tiger can stay healthy enough to give himself the opportunity to win a few more times before he hangs it up, it just seems hard for him to be "Tiger Woods" for 4 consecutive rounds any longer. Reminds me a lot of Jack at the same age. Maybe in 3 years he will have a 1986 moment.

I think this is more the schedule that is coming up. He was going to play 4 time in 6 weeks through the Masters. This week is the least important of what he is going to play.
