Not overly concerned but disappointed as I really thought he could win this week. I predicted he would have an injury this year so I guess I’m not surprised - not bragging about predicting an injury seeing as that hardly requires you to be psychic just noting that it isn’t unexpected.

I sincerely hopes he plays Valspar and skips the Dell match play... so that he can spend 2 weeks on his "masters" greens at home, putting like a madman. :)

Adam Schefter is the person who first reported the "bigger name" story. It has been thoroughly refuted. It was irresponsible journalism of Schefter and another indication of how far today's journalists have fallen in the accuracy and ethics department.

I know this isn't too too important and not to derail the topic but...

 

This kind of journalism is not new and the memories of the press always being honorable is not correct.

 

If you want really go into into it you can start with yellow journalism and the effect on multiple wars, most notably in the Spanish-American war.

 

Back on topic, this really sucks and I was looking forward to watching tiger this week. Hope he can shake it off soon

Per "new" policy, violations of either doping *or recreational drugs that result in suspension also result in the players name being made public.

I would add that Truth, in general, seems to have become a rare commodity. And I’m not complaining about the press.

There is no bigger Tiger fan than me. That being said, why does anyone believe a word of what Tiger says about his injuries anymore? In the midst of being unable to walk stairs and popping opiates like candy in 2016, he repeatedly told the world his back was fine. Then he got his fine back fused.

 

Remember when he tore his ACL and said it was because he skateboarded as a kid and also because Butch made him straighten his leg at impact? Turns out it was because people trained to kill people kicked him in the knee in a NAVY Seals training exercise.

 

The examples go on and on.
