My bet is Nelly Korda, 20, will be inside top 3 before 2020 and No. 1 before 2021.

Other contenders are Jin Young Ko, Sung Hyun Park, 2019 and 2020 rookies.

Yuka Saso trailed by 4 shots into the final round; she closed to one behind after 15 holes but made a double on par 3 #16 when she sent her tee shot into the water.

Yuka is 17; both she and Alexa Pano, 14; will begin to contend fiercely in the next 3-5 years.

Yuka was born in the Philippines to a Japanese father and a Pinay mother; she chose to grow up in the Philippines and representing that country.
