I'm liking the work Cushman is doing. I'm also liking his version of the Laguna and his C&C, gonna see if he's able to do one with the weight more in the heel than toe.

Those are really nice. Look so precise. The MyDay shape is a classic I always have liked. Would like to see one of those with a wide blade look. Sort of a combo of a MyDay and a 1 Wide, coming in about 360g.

I bought this 5w late last year as I love the shape but I don't get along with face balanced putters so I sent this one in for a makeover (I just got it back) and now it's perfect.

Welded neck with toe flow

Removed the top site line (this allows me to concentrate on the contact and not the line)

Got stroke lab Tuttle, reminds me of my old Zebra putter, rolls really well. Had the Scotty select fastback which loved but Tuttle is not yielding to it. Going to take a look though at new Scotty X12 phantom when out.

JRich performed the work, he was easy to work with and the putter came out exactly as I wanted. I don’t know why Scotty didn’t make the welded neck available to the public for the 5w but it completely changed it (of course it did).

Okay, so I wanted something a bit special from Kari Lajosi. I own a few of his putters already including a Damascus that he forged himself from scratch.

 

This one is a full Copper Billet with a Timascus insert. It is a flow neck at 350g and came with an exotic Ostrich grip and plush leather Tiffany Headcover to match the paintfill. My photos don't do justice to the colours in the insert - rich reddish purple hues, truly awesome. Kari also included a Copper ball marker which is also spectacular.

 

I have already put some ghost tape on the sole and she's in the bag this Sunday! :-)

Picked up a Toulon Portland at PGATSS for $200. Best deal I’ve found in a long time. It’s counter balanced which I’ve never tried before, so I’ll roll with it for a couple weeks to see if it works. Otherwise I’ll just chop the putter down to 34.5 and find a 20g weight to throw in the sole and call it a day. Best money I’ve spent in a long time.

Best $99 putter ever. Love the little to no offset for those of us that are left eye dominant and don't want to see a big double bend of full shaft offset. Feels and rolls great!

I am on a tear recently...picked this one up here on WRX. The refinish is a little sloppy around the insert but perfect everywhere else.

Cleveland HB Soft 8.5. Love the roll top with sight line on it. The extended bumpers provide alignment aid and forgiveness and the feel and roll is excellent. Provides the visual and alignment characteristics popular in mallets these days in an Anser like profile. Not a fan of the grip, but that's easily changed. An excellent value as well.
