If anyone has questions I can try to answer them...I've been working with Sub 70 for the last 2+ years. I don't want to break any forum rules here so somebody let me know if I'm about to get suspended/banned, but I'd be more than happy to answer specific questions.

Apparently it’s owned by the same people as Diamond Tour and Hurricane golf which I’ve bought from several times with zero complaints...

 

I had no idea this existed but debating trying the demo program if it’s up and running on those forged CB and the hollow body!

Didn’t realize they were in the Chicago area. Sycamore is a haul from Chicago though. About 65-70 miles.

Yeah just depends where you are coming from and what you think is "far". You can get there from downtown in 1:10 if there isn't any traffic...but it could be 2 hours if you leave during rush hour. It's probably about an hour from most suburbs since there generally isn't much traffic once you get west of the 355 line.

I figured with it being Chicago there would be traffic of some kind. To me if it’s 1-2 hours that’s not too shabby!! There are people on this forum who have to go double that for some kind of decent fitting option.

Am I the only one wondering if this company is related to the Sub 70 clothing company? It was popular here a few years ago - very nice clothes, but one had to try to figure out their sizing - if you were a US Large, you were between an XL and XXL....

Long story, but they're functioning as completely separate companies. The original Sub 70 clothing stuff was from a European company which is why the sizing would have been a bit goofy to us Americans. There was a guy that was distributing their products on the US side of things which is the site you listed. Not sure if they are really doing anything these days.

I guess, but was more trying to find out information and used the demo as a reference point.

Spoke with Jason Hiland this am, what a great guy. We walked through what I was trying to get accomplished with my irons for this season and he's sending a few demo's my way next week to test drive. Love what these guys are bringing to the table, will update everyone with pics when they get here. Really liking the vibe from these guys, its refreshing in a world of $1,500 irons!

$499 for a 4-Pw set with KBS Tour S shafts? Price is right if they’re any good. The model 699 looks decent, but I’m not changing irons until mine absolutely die.

I would inquire if they are parallel or taper. Profile is different between the two on the KBS tour.

 

I also see different shaft offerings now on the irons, looks like some better options, although there are up charges on quite a few, but the up charge isn't too steep!
