Taylormade RBZ Urethane

Anyone played these before?

I recently picked 50 of these for cheap and they are coming in the mail.

I like a soft compression ball thats long and low spin off the tee, but is sticky and spinny like a wet marshmallow around the green. the Callaway SR1 was my favorite ball but they are hard to find.

For reference, i am a low swing speed player.

I'm recently gaming Be6's but they have 0 stick and spin greenside and feel like rocks short game, and i play DT Solo's comfortably but they have moderate greenside spin aside from a nice soft feel.

Look forward to hearing from those with first hand experience, and suggestions for the next ball.

Soft, long, spinny around green and cheap? Go for Wilson Duo. You'll be very suprised at the performance of these balls.

hit 9 holes with them yesterday. Cover is very soft and they spin well with the shorter irons. Very soft feeling around the greens. WIth the woods and long irons they feel solid and fly every bit as long as any other ball i've used.

I'll be happy to play the 50 of these out for sure, and then ill look at giving the Project (a) a try.

I am a higher HCP golfer but the RBZ U worked well for me - straight off the tee and great around the green. When they were discontinued I tried the Project a but for my swing I was getting onto trouble off the tee so I switched to the also now discontinued Maxfli U/3 which was better for me than either of the TM offerings.

These are at Rock Bottom Golf for 30 pack for $22.

Thanks! As "PRACTICE" balls are they consider non-conforming?

No. They are conforming. PRACTICE balls are considered the same as a logo ball per the USGA.

https://www.usga.org/RulesFAQ/rules_answer.asp?FAQidx=16&Rule=5

Q.May I use an "x-out" ball or a ball stamped with "Practice" to play a round of golf?

A.Our present policy provides that if the List of Conforming Golf Balls or the One Ball Condition is in effect, a practice or logo ball may be used provided the other markings on the ball (i.e., pole and seam) correspond exactly to a ball listing on the current List of Conforming Golf Balls. Balls labeled with “PRACTICE” or a circled “P”, are essentially treated as a logo ball (such as a Mickey Mouse emblem). A player's name stamped on the ball is also acceptable. However, the original ball markings (i.e., pole and seam markings) must be readable in order for a Rules Official to determine whether that ball is on the List of Conforming Golf Balls. X-Out balls are not permitted to be used in any competition in which the List of Conforming Golf Balls or the One Ball Condition is in effect. However, if neither of these Conditions are in effect, X-Out balls may be used because all balls are presumed to conform unless they have been tested and found not to conform or are obviously non-conforming (e.g., too small or too heavy). (See Decisions 5-1/4).

I agree. Played Wilson Duo a few weeks ago, and they felt good off the club, and I loved the flight. I played RBZ today in similar temps, and lost 40 yards off the driver, and they felt like rocks. Even at $11/dz., I think I overpaid. It's been in mid 40's recently. I'll try them again when it's over 60*, and see if that makes a difference.
