Baffler F6 that good?

So I FINALLY got to take it out on the course . Holy bleep!!! The hype is LEGIT . It is so easy to hit. I was able to play a draw and a fade with ease. Last hole par 5 ..blocked my drive up the right into soggy rough . My 2nd shot i was just trying to play a little fade and get back in good position . I made really steep contact and I still got it 200 yds out in to fairway . Huge ,muddy divot ..I had no business getting the quality of shot out of the contact i made. I'm already in love with this club .

I got mine a couple of weeks ago, and threw a Nunchuk in it. I'm using it as my 4 wood set to 16*, and the club is great! I should have got one sooner!

The baffler changed my golf game. I have since put an F7 3 wood and the F9 driver in the bag. It’s a game changer.

Gents, I heard you loud and clear but I didn't believe in the unicorn. Until yesterday. Good lord you were right. This thing was great from the first swing.

Do you play it as your 5 wood? I found it is long. Almost too long. Giving me a fit because I'm a 3 wood / 5 wood / 4 iron guy.

I'm 3 rounds in with mine and it's the easiest thing in my bag to hit... it's magic. You will not be disappointed.

What shaft / length are you playing in it?

What shaft / length are others employing?

I play mine at 18.5 with the heavy weight in the back. Nice towering shots.

I threw in a Diamana ahina shaft i had in my old 910F for the time being. Playing at 41" Will prob swap it out for a 2KXV blue soon

... Earlier in this thread I fell in love with a shortened F8 5 wood. Long story short, that prompted me to try the F8 3 wood and it was equally as good and I now play the F9 3 wood. Of course it is much longer than the shortened F8 5 wood, leaving a gap in my bag. So I picked up the F6 Baffler, put in a heavier and shorter shaft and could not be happier. Love it from fairway bunkers or any kind of bad lie and when I need a 200-210 shot over a bunker or water and a high flight that stops on the green. I was in the rocky Phoenix desert last week and had 210 to a pin tucked over a bunker on a par 5 and needed 200 to clear the bunker with a high lip. Landed a few feet past pin high and stopped after a hop and trickle. I honestly don't know of any other club I own that I would have attempted that shot. I view it as a cross between a fairway wood and a hybrid, producing the best of both.

Sam- I just ordered one from RBG after reading this thread. What length of shaft do you have in it? Thanks

Have to buy something else with it... but 15% off $100 or more on Rockbottom this weekend... so yeah, that is pretty awesome so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this from them as well.

I haven't been able to find anything I love in that spot in the bag and have always been a better fairway wood player than hybrid... so here's hoping!

I did not expect to like the stock shaft, as I don't care for light shafts in hybrids and fairway woods, but this shaft works well for me. Nice high launch and great distance.

Should have asked-- Loft setting? I have a BioCell+ #3 wood. Looking at this to bridge gap to my 22 degree hybrid.

I'm around your HI. The baffler is my favorite clubbing my bag because it's so versatility out of different lies.

What do you mean heavy though the ball? Are you hitting down on it too much?

Not hitting. Down. I play the ping g400 sf Tec fairway which has a lighter swing weight than most. So compared to that Baffler seemed heavier through the ball.

I love mine but I don't like the stock shaft. I definitely want to make a change at some point and tinker with it...definitely something heavier.

What loft setting is everyone playing on their F6 Baffler?

... I have an 18* UDi 2 iron I hit off the tee, quite a bit longer than my F6 set at 18.5*. I view it as a unique trouble club for bad lies, including fairway bunkers, and I also use it when I need a high soft landing shot onto a green.

Currently playing mine at 17.5. I’ve seriously considered having two of these in the bag - one at 16 and one at 19. That’s obviously ridiculous so I’m working through a testing of the F6/F7/F8 to compliment as a 3 wood. I carry D, 3w, 5w (Baffler), 4i, 6-pw, 52, 58.

At first I also liked the stock Matrix made-for Red Tie shaft but when you then swing your other upgraded shafts you may find, like me, that it’s a bit whippy and light. Reminds me of the old made-for Fubuki shafts.

I play to a 7-8 in the summer. Swing speed around 100 with the driver. When I put a heavier and slightly shorter shaft in the Baffler the dispersion got that much better.

They are ok. I had one for about a year. Pretty small head, so prob not what a high handicapper would enjoy looking down at!

I saw them somewhere like Rockbottom a while back for $79 new. One of the courses i play quite often has a 235 par 3 w/ elevated tee and green and i prob hit the green 80% of the time with my baffler. Prob should have kept it but i only hit it once a round!!!
