Drills for steeper shaft in back swing and turning the corner in down swing?

The butt of the shaft points outside the ball line when I take the club back so I am looking for some drills to steepen the shaft in the backswing. Also, my hips and shoulders are a little right/at the target at impact which causes my club path to be way to the right. Any drills on opening up sooner to neutralize my path?

Keep the stick to your side until p2 then slide it down your lead leg. Closer to your feet you point it the steeper you go back.

Watch him closely. Pausing as he does is good as well as going slowly to start. I keep a club with an alignment stick in the grip around the house just for this drill.

I’ve done this drill before and like it! But the only problem is during the drill you have so much shaft lean at address it’s hard to get the same feel in the normal swing.

So much shaft lean is relative. I have my hands just inside my lead thigh at all setup. Use the club to determine ball position so I only have the shaft lean built into the club ataddress. Yes with the stick, which I stick into the grip, I get a bit more but not a lot. Hardly noticeable when I swing with the stick.

If you feel a lot when using the stick , it may be your setup/ ball position?
