Tz6 doesn't behave for me. Off to the bst she goes.

How did it not behave? Which flex and weight did you have? What driver head? What is working better?

I can't time it correctly. Lots of hooks. 75 m4 untipped in an f9 tour length. Going to try and go back to the Raijin that worked so well last year in my g30ls

Just got my tz5 and hit the range. Hit some great low bullets. Only issue is my swing weight went up to d6.5 so I need to order some weights from cobra and get it back to d4 range. This shaft is similar in performance on the range as my ef white but feels smoother and stable at the same time.

Did you tip it at all? Im not sure how much to tip mine!

I did not tip mine. Mark from center cut said it’s not need as the tz5 is pretty stout. My ss is around 115

Any reviews of the hybrid shaft? I'm considering getting a TZ6 for my UDI since the bend profile seems to be similar t the KBS Tour Vs that I currently play.

Maybe he just wants something new, shock absorption of graphite, different weight, Accra fan etc etc.

Curious about the TZ 5 hybrid as it sounds similar to Tensei Pro White.

How is the AD VR? This shaft has my interest along with Accra TZ5 & TZ6. Currently game AD TP7x i am pretty sure it’s untipped, and i really like it, just wish it was a tiny bit tighter feeling. Still has a good amount of kick to it so from time to time that can cause me to miss sweet spot. AD VR has a higher balance point, per graphite design’s website, so i could add a lil weight to head to potentially gain some ball speed. Let me know your thoughts on VR if you don’t mind.

Love it...I got the TZ5 85H M5 in my Srixon Z U85, and it gave me tighter groupings than the KBS I tried. Provided good feel of where the club head was in my swing, great feel at impact and ball speed and traj was greater than anything else I tried. Also felt like I had better ability to flight it down if needed. Definitely give it a look!

I hot mine for the 1st time today on the course. Have the tz6 stiff 75 in the gmax 10.5 playing 45" with a heavier weight in back.

I course was really wet with no roll. Cart path only. It went everywhere I was aimed except for one heal shot. Everyone was playable. Feel was good. Only thing i would change was a tz6s 65 instead of 75. Really like it so far.

I got the the tz6 stiff 74 gram to put in my g400.

The TZ6 75 M4 is 78 grams uncut. M5 is 80.

All of these shafts in M4 or M5 are significantly heavier than their “designation”

A 65 series in stiff or X is 70 grams

Thanks. That's interesting. Maybe I could go 55 then and put the 75 in the fairway.

Had my first range session and round with this yesterday.

Accra TZ5 M5 75, tipped 1". - Taylormade M6

About me: High spin player with a fairly aggressive transition, can miss both ways when swinging poorly, however have limited the left side substantially. This was done largely in part due to previous gamer Tensei Pro Orange 70TX tipped 1/2".

Initial thoughts on range:

- Smooth, however never felt loose.

- Pretty low launch, and with a good swing, was a penetrating flight that seemed like my "ideal spin window".

- Looks amazing, the silver bands on the black in the sunlight are awesome looking.

On course:

This was my first round of the year, so there were missed shots for sure, however, I have some feedback.

1. This combo specifically when hit well was long, for me longer than the Pro Orange M3 combo of last season, was past old yardages with minimal rollout being wet.

2. I did miss 2 drives left, little pull draws. Could definitely be down to early season swing, so won't read too much into those.

3. A good just wanted to go straight. Last year, with 70TX moved towards a power fade, this was not as visible at this point with the ACCRA, straight, penetrating, and while maintaining a smooth but stable feel.

My biggest takeaway from this is that if the left side isn't an issue, I will definitely gain a little distance with this set up compared to last year if straight ball flight is attainable over the more spinny fade and soft landing.

So far so good, will see next weekend if same results.

I agree, definitely not as anti left as the PO but not prone to over cook either, I think mine has secured it's spot over the PO for now!

Recent driver fitting at club champion and the TZ5 was a good fit for me. Currently playing the hzrdus t1100. Ball speeds were better with the TZ5, but agree with the above posters. I try to eliminate left side and the t1100 was better at this for me. I would like to get my hands on a few and try some different tipping. Club champion told me their TZ5 was not tipped.
