Long putter grip

I’ve changed my method of putting and am having good success with it.

Left hand really low on the grip, right to the bottom of the current 11” grip so that my left arm is straight and the putter runs right up my forearm. It’s a Jumbo Lamkin on a Bettinardi. I’d prefer one about the same diameter, but non-tapered near the bottom and a couple of inches longer. Flat front and flat sides, jumbo preferably.

Any suggestions please?

I like the Lamkin sink rounded 13”

Not sure if they’re offered by Lamkin anymore but you can find them on eBay.

It’s pretty heavy but checks a lot of your boxes.

Not an expensive grip which is nice if it doesn’t make the cut.

Square version is a great suggestion for the flat sides 😄

Funnily enough I spent an hour or two looking into options last night and the Lamkin Sink 13” Rounded seems to be a good shout. I’ve found a couple on sale in the UK. and am very tempted to give it a try.

It appears that the square one is thinner than the round version, the latter being the best for a pendulum motion and helping to keep wrists straight.

Anyone got any experience of either/both of these versions please?

Also, how soft is this grip? Is it rubbery or hard plastic?

Rubbery. Will be similar if not slightly softer than the jumbo deep etch. It has a little cross hatching texture in the front that feels softer and the back is very similar to the deep etch.

I think I currently have deep etch, which is quite hard.

I went to the local store today and really liked the feel of the Scotty Cameron grips, albeit I’m not sure I can buy one of these unbranded.

That’s a Winn grip I think, Scotty Cameron Matador. Anyone know if there’s an non-SC branded version of this please? Having an SC grip on a Bettinardi putter would be odd.
