Looking to purchase new irons. None of the major brands have what I want

Looking for blades or progressive, I would like black heads if possible.

My ideal irons were from a company called Scratch Golf they Made the SB 1 it had just an S on the muscle.

THATS WHATS MOST important to me it must be very clean almost zero brandings or markings. I prefer no numbers on the clubs either just lofts if possible.

I would get Scratch SB1 but they re non conforming and I want a new set. Budget F it you only live once, no seriously say 5K

I don't care at all about name brands. I would kill for a set brand new old snake eyes blades the ones with the eyes only.

About the slickest I have see so far are the Datang Dragons but know nothing about but look cool.

Any ideas?

Somebody find Fairway Fred btw is it possible to "tag" people here?

These ^ ^ ^ ^ are the 1st ones that popped into my mind.

Get these remove the white paint or not and you're there.

I agree with you the Datang Dragons are stunning but who knows how the finish is going to hold up?

Since you KNOW you want black that seems to lead us to at least trying to figure out which black finishes hold up best and you might be happy with refinishing?

A good friend of mine is always pushing me towards gun painting kits and I think I can see why now. You get your choice of finishes, they're designed to be renewed by the owner AND their designed to go on metal.

If I was looking for my "forever" set of irons... or just the baddest irons I could get my hands on. Then I would have to start with Muira and or Don White.

Again I think we need Fairway Fred as I think he designed the scratch irons you loved so much and Don White if you don't know man... I can't help you.

(National custom's team I think?)

But for 5k you could probs make a nice trip out to to the Miura factories Provence ala Eric Anders...

I think for a project like this... You'd have to consider Slicksticks as well as the other usual suspects.

https://www.instagra......

For me I've seen enough.

Kyokei (sp)

Off/On

Epon

I really like the TK FW-15's from Terry Kohler can't see myself doing black though

I like the 2 piece Titiliest from a few years back.

Saw some unstamped Mizzy 18's CRAY!!!!

Muira

MP11's like my friend plays

Zodia

Yuuri(sp?)

TBH the Ping Blue prints would look incredible too w/o the printing or if it were minimized

But copying these pics is starting to take too long so now just the links I promise some eye candy and inspiration

#1 #2 I mean so much of this is just how it's done more so than what it is...#3 #4

Personally,

I think I can whittle it down some if I were picking... But I'm not the market for these clubs as I problem considering dropping my 5iron for yet another hybrid! bahahhaha

tour spec offers japanese blade blanks that come 30 grams over weight so you grind them to the shape and weight you want. Plus they come with no markings and are raw so you could get them DLC coated black. Should be what your after.

they also have wedges

This is amazing. Honest question, though. If you don't have the knowhow to do it yourself, where would one send these to be grinded/polished/finished? And how much might that process cost? That price for the blanks is really enticing.
