Are the method putters with "The Oven" engraved on the sole milled or cast? What about if it has "Precision milling" on it? Came across an 006 prototype with "The Oven" engraved on the bottom and wasn't sure.

Cast with areas of the putter skim milled

Gotcha. So only the tour models were fully milled.

For the most part yes or if an off the shelf putter could not me modified enough to meet the players needs.

Method fans - how is a Method from The Oven goinn to compare to a Scotty?

I'm in a position where my last Student Loan payment goes out this month, so was thinking about treating myself. My Cameron Del Mar is great and I'm not looking to change based on performance, but I've found an Oven Method 003 and I am sorely tempted.

Walked into Dallas Golf to take a look around and walked out with this new in plastic still. NEKKED.

Really liking the way it pops off the face. Can’t believe I’ve never given these a try before. Can’t wait to take it on the course.

Looks great clean like that. And sadly enough I just e-mailed Dallas Golf last week to ask if they had any without alignment lines - They said NO. Haha

Added a naked to the stable and had a sight dot added. Legit, my perfect putter.

Have had both. The Method by David Franklin is the best putter I’ve ever had in my life. SC are great too. Can’t go wrong with either. But my Method feels better than anything.

I still have my Methods, sad to see them go from the shops.
The 006 Midnight and the Rory 006 are rolled on the carpet as I keep them as kind of collector’s items, especially the latter which I don’t know if there is another one in Australia.
    I wish I could find a Method Mod 90.
Latest generation is still on sale at Golf World but they are priced very expensive. I’ll wait for a nice sale and get one.

lol just found this thread after posting on another. I was stating that i haven't found a putter that could kick my 2010 nike method 003 out of the bag... looks like i'm not the only one.

Bringing this thread back. I just got Kevin Chappell’s old gamer. I love how it is fully milled. You can see where they cut and welded the neck and you can see the hand grinding on the bumpers and heel. I am very stoked. THIS is the putter I wanted Nike to release.
