Rogue SZ swing weight experience/question

I know there are a ton of threads like this already, and I know the basic swing weight math.. but wanted to get some advice from someone who has cut down a shaft on the Rogue SZ.  I've played a 44" driver for years, and finally decided to look at some of the new tech because I feel like I'm leaving yards out there on off center hits.

 

Has anyone cut down a Rogue SZ to 44.5"?  I want to get the swingweight back to the D1/D2 range (D4 stock at 45.5") but I fear getting heavier front/back weights might impact my spin numbers too much.. any thoughts or advice from the experts??

I did exactly that for my rogue Sub zero. I ordered a AD TP 7X cut to playing length at 44.5" w/ head attached, and put a 8 gram weight in front port ( replaced stock 2 gram weight). Haven't put it on swing weight scale but it feels perfect for me. I am guessing it's close to D2 swing weight. I left the stock 14 gram weight in back port.

Thanks a bunch! I figured getting 6g back in there shoukd get me back to somewhere between D1/D2 but wasn't sure to replace the 2g with an 8g or sub out both for 5g/17g.. I will start with the 8g and see how it goes!
