2019 New MP Line

Saw something interesting on Mizuno's website this morning when I pulled up the MP-18 page... "Combination unavailable." referring to the stock set. Could it perhaps mean they are stopping major production of these and getting ready for the new ones? When does the mp line usually cycle?

Probably. New MP line will be out later this year/early next year, new T series wedges too.

Maybe some heads are out of stock as golf season is ramping up. There should be new MP clubs out this Fall however current line items are normally stocked until the brink of the new release.

Generally I agree with you but they discontinued the T7 wedges months ago without a replacement ready to come in so maybe Mizzy has changed the way they get ready for new products.

MP line came out in the fall of '17. So this fall should be the NEW MP line.

Too soon to be stopping production. The MP line is 100% due out this fall but Mizuno will not stop production of the MP18’s until closer to the release of the 20’s.

August 25th 2017 is when they announced the MP 18's for Fall 2017 release. Have to believe it will be the same this go around. Gonna be a tremendous Fall 2019. Mizuno and Titleist launch 720 lines supposedly with "hotter" faces coming from them. Cant wait to see the head to head line up!

Three the Titleist lines are for better players so I doubt they will have "hotter" faces. Guess the AP1 and 3 could

The T7 was in production longer than most anything Mizuno recently. Those wedges were released with the JPX 900 irons.

 

They skipped a year on the T series and are getting them back on cycle with the MP series,

Yea it’s the new mp line. Supposedly will have a thinner top line too.

I brightened it and tried to remove as much blemish as I could. This is the best I’ve got so far, still working on it though LOL #wrxtendencies

Id love to see the MP55 released here (and in LH)  Last go around the MP I wouldve played was the MMC but no lefty.  I hope they make more available in LH.  They need a MP with modern stronger lofts.  Ive always thought if they re-released the MP53s with stronger lofts would be big seller.

The MMC lofts/bounce as a stock option on the MB/SC/Tour heads ??

Stronger loft makes less sense on MP than JPX. Also, just bend it strong if desperate.

Yes on the more lefty options. No on the stronger lofts. My 54's PW is 46° and 7i is 34°, how much stronger do you want them? MP irons are classic and will never (hopefully) get crazy with lofts.

I’m actually going back to my og lofts from when I played well. Even z945 are stronger lofts with a 9i at 41*. And I’ve been playing them 1 strong (regularly checked specs).

Made for some funky yardages, lost workability and a lot of low pulls.

The MP18 was a good fun set. Loved it. I am still in honeymoon phase with my 919 Tours. The MP5 and 4 had very nice lines and I still, to this day, which I was as into golf when they were the hot new poo as I am now. I love hitting the used sets at the store. They have incredible lines and it's something I'd like to see Mizuno move towards again.

Lefty Here. I look at the MMC and 919T and sort of see the same sort of “slightly forgiving players iron”. Yet, neither are available in lefty. They need to give us one of those.

919T unfortunately aren't forgiving.... they are practically an MB. not like the mmc's, which i consider to be mizuno's "AP2".

I have a set of 712CBs. If I wanted to go Mizuno and get something with roughly the same head size but slightly more forgiving, where do I go? I’d imagine the SC is basically the same club as a 712cb.
