Looking at the stats for the week, Nelly really shined. She hit 78% of her fairways, compared to her 2018 average of 72%. She averaged 269 yds off the tee, a half club ahead of her 2018 average of 264. She hit 80% of her greens, compared to a 2018 average of 71.7%. She averaged 28 putts per round vs. 29.42 last season. She had only 2 bogies in each of her last three rounds, and didn't have worse than bogie all week.

Hit more fairways and greens. Make more putts. Avoid blowup holes. That's generally a recipe for a great finish. Her putting is what really stood out, gaining 5.6 strokes over her 2018 average. The only player on tour who averaged better than 28 putts per round last season was Haru (27.75).

Haru is indeed amazing scrambling in the final round.

She honestly couldn’t hit a thing...almost everything left and managed up and in, even par for the day.

Only just realised there was a thread for this!

I'm a member at Grange, so it was an absolute delight to have the tournament on my home course again. Spent Thursday and Friday afternoon walking the course, then all day Saturday and Sunday following the leading groups.

Creamer's back nine meltdown on Friday was extraordinary, but she looked off both days. My father, who is also a member but only a casual golf fan, couldn't believe she was such a successful elite player. Watching her swing, he genuinely thought she was a local amateur.

Korda was staggeringly good and a well-deserved winner. I missed her on Thursday as she played in the morning, which meant I missed her three opening bogeys, but after that she was just exceptional.

I've got a few photos and a couple of videos I'll try and upload.

Here's two to start with, even if I can't figure out how to rotate them correctly on here. My video files (short swing vids) are too large as well. Any ideas?

OK. Thanks. Let's try this...

This was awesome! One peek around the tree and she barely hesitated!

It's so cool to see an extra moment like this. Especially for the extra work of getting it posted.

Thanks. I love it too. I love how you can get a glimpse of the ball soaring over the bunker 100+ m further on, with a big draw on it. But she played a way better one two holes later. The problem was, she wasn't getting off the tee very well!

Day 2.

I had a short day on the course today, covering some of the lesser known and far less supported players. I spent a bit of time watching Escallon/Daffinrud/Woods. Cheyenne looked in fine form from what I saw, but it was another missed cut for her. Tonje Daffinrud looks a player (Norwegian). Escallon had a double-bogey on 9 that was reminiscent of my own game.

Another group was Duncan/Tseng/Lee (Mi Hyang). Incredibly, when i joined them, i was the only spectator!! Quite a few more joined later on as they headed back into the hub of the course (lazy spectators), but jeez! Tseng is a powerhouse, former World No. 1. I know quite a few people rate Lindsay Duncan. And I find Mi Hyang an incredibly interesting player. Amazing that such a group was so poorly supported. Mi Hyang generates some power for a small woman, with incredible extension through the ball. She drove it about 280 m on the 11th (after birdieing 10), through the outside of a dog leg left. I caught it on video, and having looked at it about 5 times now, I still can't fathom where the power comes from. I'd do 230 m at best, and with recent swing changes, more like 190.Her caddy assured her it was OK, because it was a long way to the rough on the line she took (wrong). And anyway, it was light rough and would be fine - also wrong! Ha ha, the life of a caddy! She looked great though, and had a fine round to get well inside the cut-line at -2.

I got to see the joint leader Wei Ling Hsu birdie 18 (her 9th). It was set up by a crisp wedge approach that i also have on video. She was with Olsen, and a very powerful hitter I have never seen before, Meghan McLaren. I had the Midas touch today with birdies on handicam! Every time I pressed "record" and pointed it, birdies ensued.

That was my day. Meanwhile, elsewhere,Lydia and Su Oh were emphatically missing the cut. I didn't see that coming! But how often do we say those words with golf? I was glad Ariya had a stronger day. My tip is still Haru Nomura

Just reading through this thread and seen you followed Cheyenne Woods group, that's so cool!

I was caddying for Daffinrud! Didn't take any photos did you haha?

Will do. i don't understand, but I'll trust you!

Of those two links, both are to folders - but one contains 2 videos, while the other contains 1 video. Where there is only one object in the folder, the link seems to go straight to the object, which is smart. So in future, I'll make each file a folder. I should perfect all of this by about 2025, at this rate.
