Adams love?

I have a Adam's Red 2 hybrid. Picked it up for $20. I dont at it. Shaft is too long imo. Thing goes as good as anything when centered. Anyways, Adam's is good as anything out there.

Those A4 Forged irons are the first irons I regret getting rid of. It took me years to find something to replace them. That XTD Super Hybrid is great. I have the 19*, but I just got a 20* Super 9031 to try out for that spot. I hit that 19* way too high, and any amount of wind kills it. Still keeping the head in case I don't like the Super 9031 with the Black Tie hybrid shaft.

I've played the CB3s the last 3 years but replacing them this spring.  After testing out pretty much every new iron, it surprised me how compact the clubhead is.  It's a little thicker in the sole and has a little more offset, but the shape is overall smaller to many of the irons out today excluding musclebacks.

Adams A7 Hybrids - the love of my life, they'll probably outlast my current wife. Got a 19 and 22.

Just started stock piling heads in case of loss, damage, zombie apocalypse, the usual back up excuses.

Best value in golf. I played lots of Adams, but nothing beat my F11 driver till it broke. FWIW, Tom Watson played the f11 until maybe 2 yrs ago, and told my son (caddying in his group at a pro am) it was the best driver he’d ever hit

Ive not hit many Adams clubs that I didnt like. They were the first clubs that afforded me the ability to get a tour issue driver (4250DF) and the hybrids have always been great. Still keep a tour issue VST around just because.

Let's see...I have a 9.5* 9015D, a 13* SuperXTD 3W, Speedline 1300 3T, 22* PNT v2, 25* Idea Pro Gold, 18* tour issue Tight Lies Tour, tour issue CB2s with a 3-iron, XTD Tour As, tour issue 18* Dhy Proto...Gaming the hybrids and 5W now. It all ranks up there with any of the other stuff I've tried. Sad that I lost one of the sole weights on the SuperXTD or it would still be in the bag! Adams was also my gateway to tour issue stuff - especially the hybrids...

I have many Adams clubs, both in my current bag, and "in reserve," including:

* Several Fast 12LS drivers

* Super LS driver

* Tight Lies 2 Fairway

* Pro hybrids in 18, 20, and 23 lofts

* dHy hybrids in 18, 24 (2), and 27 lofts

* Pro Black MB/CB1 combo irons

* CMB irons

* A4 Forged irons

* XTD Forged irons

It still bums me out that they are gone.

I used Adams stuff for years..all of it. Great clubs..until the takeover by TM. The new drivers I think have passed them by but hybrids and irons if you love them you won’t find better. I used an F11 tour issue driver until 5 years ago. It was very underrated. Solid, accurate and long at the time. Some of my favorite clubs I’ve ever used. Mine unfortunately hang on the shop bench wall now.lkym4mbh506u.jpeg

I have two sets of clubs. My Hogan PXi's are the ones I "play" with during my golfing season. The other set, that no matter what I can not get rid of, are the Adams XTD forged irons. I use them on the driving range mainly, a few times a week, so that my PXi's can stay fresh longer. The XTD's are super sweet, LONG, and came with KBS tour shafts stock. Buttery soft and very forgiving for a forged set of irons. When the Hogan's are naughty they get put away and the XTD's come out. I also have the Ti three metal and I am here to say it is LONG. It came with an upgraded shaft as well. In their day Adams made some great products.

How do you like the 400 LST compared to the 9015D? Surely it is way more consistent and is it as Anti-left as the 9015D was ?

I'm tempted to find a good set of these instead of the Srixon 785s that I've had my eyes on since they came out. Both sets of irons would be sweet to own...the inner club ho wants both, but the apartment living says get 1 set because that's all I have room for, lol.

I got an XTD ti 3w this winter and its as long and forgiving. I only used it off driving range mats , so hopefully it performs when off real grass.

I used a Super LS 3w and 5w most of last year but switched to a Callaway XR16 3w and dropped the 5w for a hybrid. The XTD 3w is better on mishits than the LS or the Callaway.

Bag Setup - changes too often to bother listing
