Best Hybrid of recent years

Played Adams Idea Pro for years. Still kicking myself for getting rid of them a few years ago.

Apex as many have said are solid. Also, I really enjoyed the 2017 M1 Hybrid. The sliding weight was quite effective at making it anti-left and the all black top was compact and clean to look at. Can be found for a decent value right now as well.

Srixon H85. I don't hear much about it, compared to their irons and utility irons. It's amazing.

Just picked up this hybrid this year and have been loving it. Love the look and sound as well.

I still find myself going back to the original Rescue Mid TP. Tried an 07 TP and didn't like the look, tried a tour issue 09 deep face, and a tour Rescue 11 tp. None FEEL as good as the Rescue Mid TP's.

What's even more, I prefer the stock dynamic gold s400's in them too. Current playing a 16 and 22 and just love them. Solid, dependable, and LONG!

Agree! Apart from my 22 being almost worn out, nothing feels like the legendary Rescue Mid TP's. I am currently in experimental mode, where I have put in a G400 22 instead of the old trusty Tp 22...we'll see how it works out during play :to_become_senile:

I play the Titleist 818H1 hybrids 21 and 25* with GD HY 85s shafts. I like the adjustability of these clubs, the clean look at address and the feel off the face. Also get a nice mid-high trajectory which is what I was looking for in a hybrid.

I know it's not from the last 5 years, but my Cobra Baffler Rail H 19* will never leave my bag. I buy/sell/trade clubs all of the time, but I refuse to let this one out of my bag. Bought it new in 2010 and it has been carrying 210 dead straight ever since.

New Apex. I thought the jailbreak wouldn't matter for such a small head.

But, man it is working.

I wanted to buy it but could not justify the cost since my current one is just working fine.

+1

I have the 3 and 4 Apex, and the 2,3,4 Anser hybrids, I swap them around if one or the other starts behaving badly. Can't go wrong with either.

Hopefully the Wishon 775 HS set to square on a steel shaft to match my irons that's coming. :)

I've really liked the TM RBZ (1st Gen), too. Thought the Callaway Apex was good from a couple of years ago and the Tour Edge CBX if memory serves was really anti-left.

the G410 is awesome by itself, but I just got an AD DI 95x hyrbid shaft installed and it is hands down the best hybrid I have ever played. Came from a Tensei CK Blue, and this hybrid goes straighter, higher, and longer.

Maybe it's my imagination but the G410 HB doesn't seem to have the nasty draw bias of other HBs, even before adjusting it flat. At least in the 19 degree I have.

Titleist 8181H2 21* for me with the Atmos TS HB Blue 8S shaft has been an amazing club. Love the adjust ability and its the perfect head size and shape. I think the shaft is going to go down as an all time favorite of mine in hybrids

I liked the Titleist 816 and 818 H1’s, but the Ping G410 is by far the best I have hit. I can’t think of one con.

Callaway Apex 20*, old one

Been thinking about the strange gap I have between my Steelhead 3+ and my 3 iron.

I have a 5 wood - Titleist 906f2 18* with a Buy You 85 stiff. On an 80 day at sea level, but 30 miles inland, flat land, no breeze, I’ve hit it 242yds to five feet. All fly. Memorable eagle.

I also have an Apex 20*, 5.5 Project X. At Pebble Beach, 55 degrees and thick air, I played it to the front of 6 green from 240 to middle. No doubt this one landed 10-20 years short and rolled up.

I’ve never hooked the Apex, which surprises me because the shaft is weak for me. And I will up-shoot and overcook the 5 wood.

Don’t know what to do.

But yeah, the Apex is awesome for an iron feel. And the Adams XTD is just as good for a fairway wood feel.

I have my 815 callaway set out in California, they still might be my favorite, also have a set of original Apex, which are awesome, in my kids bag, but have had my Epic in since I bought it, the stock recoil was ok, but put a Pro white in, and it is old reliable

Been a big fan of the Cobra F8 I added to the bag this year, may go with another. Had the F7 before that I didnt like as much (maybe the shaft?). Before that the Adams Red (had 2) which were a great Hybrid and I still have them laying around just in case. I dont see the F8 going anywhere though, just wish they were still adjustable for some fine tuning
