Motorcycle Move - Inconsistent

Do 100 swings with MM a day in the mirror. Also, there is a video on YT showing how to practice the motorcycle move using a bottle or a cup instead of a club where you roll the hands over and exaggerate the move in the backswing to get used to the feel. Pretty self-explanatory but it helps to engrain it. Do 50 of those every day in a mirror. After a month it should feel pretty natural.

Correction: FD referenced the Sullivan video, but YOU posted it.

So my interpretation of that vid is precisely his point ... the arms are pinned but not to the sides. Hogan first showed an easy way to feel “pinned arms” as a general concept, but then demonstrated how pinned arms actually work in the swing.

If this was not his intent, then what was the reason for the first part of his demonstration? This is not snake oil ... it works like a charm!

@moehogan Agree. I look at that video basically how I look at pre-shot routines. They’re exaggerated “feels” and don’t reflect reality in the full swing, but help with an intent. You don’t see Rose or Noren actually swing like they do their pre-shot drills.

You can try and get it twisted but by any normal person that reads it means Hogan had his elbows pinned till impact, Hogan absolutely did not and Frozen never mentioned this was an intention but one shouldn't actually do that.

Again, I have reported these guys and encourage others to do the same. They should just start their own focused thread, argue to their hearts' content, and leave the other discussions alone.
