Looks ugly... but yeah jokes on us I guess. Now Titleist gets to join TM/Cally etc with having 3+ models in any given year. Wonder what the point is... a TS2 looking head (more elongated?) but lower spin? Maybe TS4 will be a 430cc TS3? Can't be a very big market for that.

Nothing wrong with having options. I don't know why it matters if they have 2 or 3 offerings. Try each out and choose what works best I guess? At least this is going to be offered to the general public. Callaway has two retail models and 3 or 4 tour only models as it seems none of their staffers are hitting retail heads.

 

The M1, M3, and now M5 have been offered in smaller heads. They must be selling or they would have abandoned that concept long ago.

 

Also, I don't think it's more elongated. I think it isn't as long front to back. Probably a lot deeper face too, which I dig.

TS4 is on the Titleist site today. Same MSRP as the other two so maybe a full release rather than MOTO?

It is. With demos being available "a few weeks" before the full release in late June.

I'm a little disappointed there isn't going to be a LH option in 8.5*. I get it as this is a driver targeted a smaller segment and of that segment, the LH group would be even smaller. My guess is they used 915D4 LH 8.5* sales, or lack there of, to make this judgement. I'd have to trial the 9.5* against the 8.5* TS3 so see if it would even be worth it but my spidy senses so no since that extra degree of loft likely offsets any spin reduction. I'll keep my eyes open for some reviews on this new head when stacked against the other TS offerings. Pretty cool either way and kudos to Titliest.

Late June release? I don't see that as good marketing for some parts of the US. I certainly won't want to change in the middle of golf season on the East Coast. I plan on having my driver set for the rest of the year in a few weeks.

The Market may not be very big, but I will be one of the first in line if it is a deeper face with a smaller footprint.

I really don’t care for my 9.5 TS3. Too shallow faced and too big. It’s going on eBay today.

Had a 915 D4, 8.5* and thought it was excellent feel and performance.

But decided I preferred a head with more weight adjustment and sold it. This one appears to be the same...one weight.
