Aesthetically it’s beautiful. Deepest face on the retail market I’d say. Just need improved feel and forgiveness compared to 915d4. Many will buy it on appearance alone and I don’t blame them. Niche product but some guys will love it

I might a big Jimmy Walker fan, but is super low spin/smaller head really the best idea for the guy that’s 203rd in driving accuracy this year on tour?

 

If it is SLDR-esque then it’s gonna be brutal on mishits.

Hmm...90% of the PGA Tour guys whom use a Titleist driver use the TS2 and TS3.

 

However the WRX Low Spin heros MUST HAVE the D4 because they spin the 2 and 3 too high...LMAO.

Guess I must have missed the post in this thread where anyone said they wanted this because they need to spin their drives less.

Would like to give it a try. Still really like my sldr430. Nothing really has captured the shape and depth of it since. At least not for lefties.

Jimmy has already stated on his Instagram account that he is sticking with his TS3

Heres another thought.. you think WRX heroes "wants" to hit down -6* on purpose ?? Umm. No.

 

Some golfers dont possess a PGA swing, or the practice time, to consistently have a positive angle of attack. Some golfers find change hard after swinging a certain way for years and years. And some golfers find the chopping wood swing is the best way for them to find the fairway more often. So instead of changing their swing to something very unfamiliar, or comfortable to them, they try to compensate a little via equipment, to maybe _equalize_ the spin a little bit. And some golfers prefer the smaller look regardless of whether its a higher or lower spin model.

 

Im not changing from my TS3, but Titleist knows theres a huge crowd out there looking for the D3 headsizes otherwise they wouldnt put one out.

I have both the TS2 and TS3 so I have to complete the collection.
