Anyone else found the perfect ball?

I've tried just about every ball you could think of... well, almost. Anyway, I started playing the Bridgestone Tour B RX and it just felt so comfortable to play and the results were always predictable. I then started testing other balls in an attempt to find the "perfect" ball; not realizing that I may have already found it. Anyway, after weeks of experimenting, it finally dawned on me (yes, I'm a little slow) that the RX was the "perfect" ball for "me". Sure, I can play just about any ball, but when faced with a shot that requires perfect execution, I start to play mind games with myself and wish it was an RX in front of me. So I've sworn off the experimenting for a while and I'm sticking with the ball that just feels like it was made just for me. This is in no way an endorsement of the RX for anyone else.

Been through the same situation. Started with the Gamersoft and had experimented with a dozen balls over two years and realized the Gamersoft was the best at the time. Sadly, they don't make the ball any longer. I now like the QST and won't make that mistake again. QST has the fair price, great feel and green side spin and comes in yellow. Search over.

There is no such thing as a perfect ball. All the balls are good and it's just a matter of which ball do you prefer based on what ever criteria is important to you. And we won't all prefer the same ball because of that. And that doesn't make it a perfect ball or mean that's the best ball made. It's just the best ball for you or for me.

the B330s (pre-tiger, 2014 model, hydrocore, dimple in dimple) was the perfect ball for me. still can't find a pound-for-pound replacement, but i have been enjoying the most recent iteration of the chrome soft.

I've liked every iteration of the B330 ... I've bounced between models at times, but I've always been pleased with the consistency and predictability of performance.

A little disappointed today with the RX. I cut one on the 3rd hole and did not hit a tree or cart path. Not sure how that happened but unacceptable for a brand new ball.

Then I switched to a new ball and by the end of the round, it was pretty beat up. I'm not a long hitter and don't really understand how a brand new ball could end up with 2 or 3 pretty bad scuff marks.

Let's see- favorites used for extensive period of time have been Nike Tour Accuracy DD, Precept U-tri tour, Bridgestone 2012 B330s, and the current tour B XS. Bridgestone manufactured golf balls just seem to suit my preferences and game very well.

Their 'yellow' is putrid. But I've played every generation of the Project A and really enjoy it. Ticks all the boxes for my game.

The perfect ball for me is the Snell MTB Black. Great off driver, plenty of spin off irons and shots around green. Performs great into the wind as well.

I put the 2018 Chrome Soft against the 2018 Bridgestone B XS on Sunday. It was pretty windy on my course, greens were playing firm following ironing and the fairways were hardening up. A few comparisons I made against each ball:

* Driver distance was pretty much the same. The only big difference was my strike. Bridgestone probably just edged it.

* Long irons no noticeable difference

* Mid and short irons the Bridgestone stopped and popped out of its pitchmark, Chrome Soft stopped and spun back a bit further around a couple of feet. Maybe a few extra yards from the Chrome Soft. Had a decent amount of stop from the rough with the Bridgestone as well.

* Both performed well in the wind. Bridgestone marginally better.

I have 2 dozen of each ball. I prefer the clicky sound of the Bridgestone but certainly not averse to the softer feel of the Chrome Soft. For what I paid I have found the ball(s) that fit my game perfectly.

Not perfect as it doesn’t fly in the hole on every shot but the AVX works well for me

Played 18 over the weekend with Tour B RX. (I had 3 dozen on the shelf that I must have bought on sale last year.) My observations: only lost one ball; good feel off the club face; good green side spin; decent distance; ball did scuff easily. Gold standard for me is Pro V1X and this could be close but for the scuffing.
