Sorry for the less than stellar pictures in the likeness of Fred's but here is my 693 driver I just got back from Dave Wood. I also had my 1952 M09 Jumbo LFF restored.

Such a great looking 693 ! I like that classic stain color, the nice grain really pops. Great restoration!

Outstanding refinish job. I like the stain color. Dave has a knack of making the grain pop with his stains and finishes. A great block with very nice grain -looks super solid !

Here is the Emperor's 693 driver. At address it looks worthy of an Emperor.

 

However, on the sole it needs a little work on the screw in the bore-thru shaft.

 

No backweight!

Fantastic! Beyond superlatives!

The "timeless standard in quality, materials, and playability" which every persimmon wood ever made is compared with.

The reason nearly all the Classic LH persimmon models MacGregor made had sweepback soleplates.

And why each and every LH Cleveland Classic TC-15 made has a sweepback soleplate.

Yes, there are LH MacGregor 693s... 653s...M80s....and M09 LFFs.

Have to post some pictures of my 693T 1and 2 woods. Not as pretty as the ones you have already posted, but I kind of like it that way also. This driver has some serious battle scars that appear to have been expertly repaired to keep her in action... large neck cracks that you can see the dowel work they used. Hits like a truck and just has that certain sound that I only seem to hear from certain MacGregor woods... is my first line gamer. Was reshafted with a True Temper shaft that I wish I could identify since I really like the way if feels

Northplatt, nice looking 693! Looks very solid. For clubs that are 70 years old now they look great

I just received my 693 fairway woods from Dave Wood. I now have a perfect set of 693s, definitely wall hangers (although I will occasionally hit the driver). Here are a few pictures. (I edited the post with reoriented pictures)

In order is the 2 wood, 3 wood and 4 wood. The final picture includes the driver I had done in late 2018.

Sam - incredible set of 693. I like the fact you retired the fairway woods to the wall. Dave seems to be able to get the grain to almost jump off the club. Fred’s has the best carbon marking I’ve ever seen. The Emperor has a nice 693 too but I have “The King“ pictured with my favorite gamed 693 and then the gamer with my favorite 945 which does have one of the more shallow heads in my driver collection but it shows the gamer is anything but small. The jumbo does have a strange grain and is a heavy E0 swing weight.
