You are darn skippy on the Penna driver I have several well actually 25 or so. Still play them on my vintage rounds. The only persimmon driver that hits as well for me as a Penna is possibly a Izette

Izette ? Never heard of till I had a look at their web site. Hmm lucky for me they don’t do LH

Sorta misled a little. My holy grail driver of all time was a little blonde Power Bilt persimmon with a fiber insert. Played it for 10 years or so. Cracked it a couple of times and a buddy of mine who was a master club craftsman could always bring it back to life---- Until that fatal day when it cracked the last time. Found one darn near identical to it on the pile the other week and I am itching to hit it.
